Just play on keyboard first and see if you like the button layout, then move up if you'd like. Its genuinely all preference. Im an arcade stick user for life but yeah.
It's pretty much personal preference, I will say that hitbox GL can be rough and has a bit of a learning curve, so if you do switch prepare to suck for a bit.
There's another layer to this that you can add for a bit of fun- if you've conditioned your opponent to block after they see the setup start, you can do jH into j426H and then throw as soon as you hit the ground. If they mash throw it will punish you for trying this, but since the sequence is airtight if you want it to be, that's a tough call to make. Could be really funny tho....
we've experimented with this and imo it's better to make them block a bt and then go for it. they can fuzzy jump very safely there, but they seriously risk blocking a bt in the air which makes the situation much better for the gl, and you can still condition it really hard
I’ve actually got a full video on this so I’d recommend checking out my kara guide! but my tip is to do the s button, then dash and input your bt fluidly as you’re pressing the dash button. in the input history it should be s then dash then 23698 H for example. I’m also cooking up a video that will make mention of it so keep an eye out
@@me_lolo ah ok, I’m gonna check out your video and practice tonight. Also, do you post any of your matches anywhere, or is that something you don’t do? I’d love to watch you play some goldlewis and see if I can pick up some game knowledge from ya. Ive just started playing goldlewis myself, and I’d love some point of inference to look upon
