if you like this one, check out C90 Adventures for some INSANE multi-thousand mile trips on a C90 Honda. he goes from alaska to argentina in one, he drives from europe to east asia in another. another young presenter that enjoys 2 wheeling to the fullest! he most recently bought a jeep go-kart and rode it from Salt Lake to MOAB. took some time, breakdowns and weather/blizzards, but he made it!

The Honda Goldwing just happens to have the greatest engine ever built on the planet. This bike is basically bulletproof (but I think I’d choose a Beemer GS for a trip like this)

You had this former '78 GW rider with "it has knobbies." I tipped mine over once while at my rural mailbox, I had a full 10 gallon propane tank, a 50 pound bag of dog food, and a couples weeks worth of groceries on it. Just as I realized I could NOT pick the sucker back up, a good old boy stopped and gave me a hand, all he said was "you ever think about buying a pickup?" Check out the Gravelly Range road ride sometime, from Ennis to the Centineantal Valley in Idaho, it's awesome.

Dude, you accentuate the term adventure. So many riders are about the destination when the most important part is the adventure. This includes making friends in the strangest places, seeing Gods creations along the way that most people will never see. This was a fantastic adventure, thank you guys (figuratively speaking) for sharing this part of your lives with us.

My wife and I have ridden 1200, 1500 and 1800 Wings and I've never been afraid to take them up a dirt road... but some of that was crazier than anything we've ever ridden on. Great video!

Great trip, thanks for sharing. I agree about small rural towns being awesome and resilient. I always love to pick up the local newspaper when I go to a small town. It shows what is really important to people. Sheriff got new radios, girls volleyball team is going to state, Eagle Scout project beautifies the town park. Real down to earth stuff.

Well, I'm not middle aged but I sure am glad we didn't wait to retire to do the things we enjoyed. Shared some good living with you Roy. Rode the Harley out to Simi valley just two years ago. I hope my riding days are not over. Just heard from John that Mike Thomas passed away this morning. Ask not for whom the bell tolls. The grim reaper may not be looking us in the eye but he don't seem far off.

Matt. Loved your video. After 56,000 miles on my 1980 'Wing (some of it on single tracks) I sold it a few years ago at age 71. Got tired of working on it all the time. You are making great memories and stories that others will think you're exaggerating, when you tell them later. No regrets, bro.

Blackberries!!! I was on the coast of Oregon with my travel trailer and saw a flea market but the entry was too small for my trailer. Went a liile further and found a place to turn around and stop. Biggest, sweetest blackberries I have ever eaten. Ate our fill and picked enough for muffins, pancakes and just eating.

All bikes have their limits, but some are unstoppable. I never thought someone would take a honda goldwing offloading. It rolled over several times. Iti went sand jumping, muddy trails and survived! Great video

Dude you have mad style with your helmet and boots and shorts and no gloves. And you're cold and riding toward a storm but you keep going instead of putting on a layer. It stresses me out. It's ballsy enough to take a Goldwing off road, but to do it with a passenger is next level.

You can ride kid! I dont think people realize what it takes to muscle that 1000lb bike around and the skill it takes. I love that you basically broke every rule (or mind set) of what most think you have to ride to make that trip and just went for it. Awesome, thanks for sharing. I live in N. Idaho, it's fun watching people ride the IDBDR and seeing video of the route after having have rode it a few times. The MaGruder is one of the best sections of the ride. One of my favorite parts of the whole ride is dropping down into the South Fork of the Salmon after Warren.

the northern rockies are probably the best mountain terrain you can find. it's varied, stunning, rugged, but also accessible. my old man lives near yellowstone, just off of Togwotee pass on highway 26 in wyoming. prettiest place ive ever been! (ive lived in 26 states, and travelled to over a dozen countries, thanks USAF!)
