19:19 Aww man, it would have been nice if the front amber turn signals also illuminated as parking/running lighs instead of only flashing. I guess you could add separate amber parking/running lights pretty easily. So, this is a 48v cart with six 8 volt batteries? Have you noticed the more efficient LED's lights increase your overall range or operating time? It would have been nice to measure the current draw of the old incandesant system, and compare it to the new LED. I love taking those before, after reading. -Chuck
I am stumped on where the set of three leads, red, yellow, and black go. They are separate from the main positive and negative. Can you tell me please?
I bought the same or similar kit. But I have a gas ezgo txt. My lights work but turn signals and hazards don’t know. Also when I start my cart my lights go out. Any ideas?
My guess is, just like a car, with a gas golf cart there are probably different power settings - full time, accessory/run, and start. Yours must be hooked up to accessory/run. Do the lights work with the key off?
I have a similar system & installed it just the way you did but when I connected power….nothing worked I tested the output on the Voltage converter & it showed 12.45 volts I’m thinking the Brain might be bad any suggestions????
not being there to see and check it would be impossible for me to know. Try it with the key on to make sure you didn't hook to "accessory power." If that's not it, I'd contact customer service to see what they say. Good luck!
it's been a long time since I filmed this and I don't remember but it is shown in the video. I do remember that the instructions for it didn't seem to match how it ended up needing to be wired
if you have everything shown in the video then you have all the parts. I called "the brain" the part that sends out the signals to the various lights. I'm not watching the video right now but if I remember correctly it was tucked up behind the dash when I had the front nose piece off
Yo Gary, I've been waiting for this video for almost 3 months. lol Do you have a P.O. Box for fan mail? I have a device you might be able to use for your golf car. It was sent to me back in 2017. It's kind of like an "electrical version of snake oil" lol After testing, and evaluating it's effectiveness, I've learned it's designed for multi battery vehicles that get recharged on a daily basis. Like fork lifts, pallet jacks, and even golf cars (things I don't have). I'm dying to know if this thing actually works out of pure curiosity. Would you be interested? -Chuck
Hey there. I bought this same kit along with the power converter 48v to 12v. I got it all installed without issue. But when I went to test it, only the running lights work (front and back). I can’t get the turn signals, emergency flashers, or brake lights to work. Any idea what could be wrong? I rechecked the connections, fuses, and the little controller box, and all seems correct. Help!!!!
without being there and testing and inspecting everything it would just be a guess. I'd contact the seller and see about a replacement or if they know what would cause that. I've had zero problems with mine.
Since they are LED's and require the correct polarity, you might try swapping the plus and minus and see if that gets them working. The running lights are probably on a separate circuit and have their polarity correct.
