If you start noticing some uneven tire wear, you may need an alignment. You don't need to take the cart to a shop to fix the alignment, you can do it yourself with a few tools. Follow along and save your tires!

Great video! Question: lifted 4p, front tires bald at about 700 miles. Replacing tires and going to adjust the toe. What is best for tire wear? In, out, neutral? Seems there are many opinions on this
@oftenwrongparadigm
@oftenwrongparadigm Месяц назад
That seems really low miles for bald tires. I'm at 2175 miles and the tread is still pretty good. Is your air pressure good? Not overloading it? I've gone back and forth a few times on the alignment on mine. I've had it set at a slight toe out for the past few months. Something like 1/2in toe out. I find it's stable in the straightaways and still corners well that way. toe in is going to wear the tires needlessly and make turning difficult. Neutral will be ok for general driving, but feels "floaty" to me. Slight toe out could slightly wear the tires going straight, but will save them in the corners, turning is easier. Too much toe out is going to wear the tires needlessly and make turning very snappy. If it's wear due to camber... we are all SOL on that one. It's not adjustable that I've found. Something is damaged and needs fixed.

Hi great video! I've had a huge issue with the front tires of my Bintelli Beyond wearing to the point of being bald on the outsides after only about 500 miles. My toe is fine, but to me it seems like there is a lot of negative camber that is leading to the wear. Is there anyway to adjust the camber on a Beyond? There is very little online unfortunately but you seem very knowledgeable. Thank you!

There's not a good way to adjust the camber that I've found. Have you discussed the issue with the dealer or Bintelli directly?

Good video but just an fyi here . Those thingy's that You used the 18mm on are not called ball joints. That is called a, TIE ROD END. The thingy You used the 12mm on is called the TIE ROD. I will say though there was three nuts there . The ball joints are on the control arms . Just in case some uses this video and decides to replace a part they could get the right thing the first time . Just an fyi not ill will intended .

😂 yep, you are correct, tie rod, ball joint 👍. Call it a quirk of the channel. It's in the channel name. I'm not always the best example to follow. I have tried to get better with calling thingies and stuff the right name. It's not going well.

How do you adjust the camber on a 2024 Icon i40L (it's lifted from factory)? It has front struts, too. Nice video, thanks for posting it.

I searched around on my cart for a while now, infrequently over many months. At this point I'm either going to say I haven't figured it out yet or camber can't be adjusted. Really wish it wasn't this way. I don't have a camber issue at this point, really hope I never do. The way the cart is put together, there doesn't appear to be an easy way to make the camber adjustable.

@oftenwrongparadigm Thank you for your efforts! I've come to the same conclusion, so I'll be taking it back to the dealership and let them figure it out since that's what a warranty is for. I just don't have a lot of confidence in my dealership, but they'll have to find a way. One of the Icon assembly factories is located very nearby, so there's always that.

Very good demonstration on cart wheel alignment. I would like to know how to check the brake fluid and adjust the brakes on my Bintelli Beyond Cart.

The wear pattern is on the inside, does that mean it’s toed out?
@oftenwrongparadigm
@oftenwrongparadigm 5 месяцев назад
Possibly, yes. It could also be the camber. I've not found a way to adjust that though.

Thats awesome How do you straighten your wheel?
@oftenwrongparadigm
@oftenwrongparadigm Год назад
Well there's the complicated math way, or the easy trial and error way. I prefer the easy way. With the steering lock nuts loosened, and assuming you have the toe set how you want (in, out, neutral, I prefer my cart to be neutral or a lil out), you will want to turn one side in, and the other side out 1 complete turn and recheck the steering wheel alignment. If it's worse, you went the wrong way with it. Go 2 turns on each side the opposite way as you did the first time and recheck. If it's closer, but still not there, adjust your # of turns accordingly and recheck. If it's too far the other way around, then it wasn't off that much to begin with. Try a half turn back in the opposite direction and recheck. You may need to roll your tires forward and back between adjustments. Or, just take a spin around the block to test. Just make sure you retighten those lock nuts when you're done.

Are you happy with the build quality of your Bintelli? How about the ride quality? Thanks in advance
@oftenwrongparadigm
@oftenwrongparadigm Год назад
Yeah I'm Happy with the build quality and the ride quality. I think it is comparable quality to the big three, and possibly a little bit better than some of the other newer cart manufacturers. I will say the ride quality may not be what everyone else wants or likes. The Bintelli suspension is more jeep-like than Cadillac. I would encourage anyone looking to get a cart to test drive each model they are considering before purchase. I must have gone around to 8 or 10 different places before purchasing the Bintelli. Each one has its pros and cons. For me, the Bintelli checked all the boxes I wanted, and didn't break the bank at the same time.

Hi, do you have a video on how to install the DC converter that you have? Thanks!
@oftenwrongparadigm

I don't, yet. I'm going to be doing one of those shortly. I need to get on Amazon to buy a different fuse block and converter. I think I'm going to be taking the electronics in a different direction.

Something is wrong, before I watched this video I checked my alignment and it was significantly toed out but handled okay. I wanted better tire wear so I made the alignment straight like you are showing here. At high speeds you almost lose control, the cart absolutely won't go in a straight line. It is so bad an unexperienced driver could possibly flip the cart over. I'm cosidering going back to a moderate amount of toe out or possibly toe in like cars have. I have a friend that says his does the same thing but we haven't checked his alignment yet.
@oftenwrongparadigm
@oftenwrongparadigm 7 месяцев назад
Well that's not good. Id probably toe it back out a little then. I wouldn't suggest toe in on a cart. I tried it for a few days, made turns difficult and increased turn radius.

Which color is your cart ... navy or hydro? Thanks.

It's hydro. I wanted navy, but they had the hydro available the 3rd time I went to the dealership. I didn't feel like waiting longer.

@@andrearuffino I'm happy with the hydro color. I think I like the lighter brighter blue.
