Stop buying coffee at Starsucks, brew your own at home. Use the money to spend $10 or so a month on the game. You will come out a head, be drinking better coffee, and have more fun on the game.
Hey I was doing the exactly whatv you explained not to do in those top 10 no no's you described. Amazing if we just here things from someone else. Open-minded to your theory. Thanks Bro. Much Love!
Yes. Made every mistake. Thank you for the tips! Starting to do bankroll management. I struggled on T6 because of the lack of coins. Playing T3, 4, and 5 now to boost confidence and bank coins.
Great advice thank you I have made all the mistakes. One is that I used to make was lose 3 4 5 times in a row. After losing two I stop for a while. Now If I win 3 in a row I stop. It has helped me not to be too confident and lose on the next plays
Good tips, especially about researching holes before you actually play them. In real golf it's called research in your course management technique's. It also informs you enough to know if you need to setup a golf bag with certain clubs & special balls to be competitive for those holes.
The number one mistake is definitely one not to make. There have been so many times when I was first starting that I hit my tee shot in the rough, sand or water and was going to just quit. Think about it for a second......... If you quit losing is going to be 100 percent. If you play there can still be a chance. I remember on one hole my tee shot went over the cliff and into the water. My opponent played safe and laid up. On my next shot I hit my tee shot about 5 yards away from the cliff so I was sitting good. My opponent hit his 2nd shot in the sand. This gave me my opening. Mainly because his next shot now wasn't an automatic putt. When it was my shot low and behold I shot it in which meant my opponent had to chip in from the sand to get a draw and he wasn't able to do it. So yes, the #1 rule here is true. Never give up or rage quit because of a bad shot. You just never know how it's going to pan out. The odds may be that you will lose but if you keep playing you will find that you will win some of these.
ItsRJTV once on tour 6 my chip to draw went past the hole and i quit, about 10 seconds later i rejoined and found out that it actually managed to get in the hole. By that time though it disconnected and i lost 13 trophies
I started out with that rule when I began playing back in October (#1) Im about 1800 games in with a 54% win percentage and I've never forfeited. Im guessing maybe 30 to 40% of those games i thought I was screwed
You are a good speaker. Glad I found you. Starting to watch all your videos. Thx for taking time to help beginner's. I myself have never played any type of golf game.
Again Thanks RJ ... Made all of the mistakes ... and more ... getting too excited after an opponent ends up in the bunker or rough and end up in the same place ...
Some great advice Rj last night before the Tournament i watched your live stream of you qualifying and it really helped me on some ways i was taking to the green. Keep the videos coming bro I need all the help i can get.
I haven't made any of those mistakes only because I'm brand spankin new. So hopefully I won't make them but I'm sure I will. Good video very informative
Excellent video. Great "radio voice", you're well spoken so keep up the good work. My personal #1 would be to make sure and adjust for the wind. I couldn't tell you the number of times I've seen players line up the perfect shot, but not adjust for the wind, and they wind up in the bunker, rough, or worse the water. Perhaps this isn't an issue at higher levels (I'm currently on tour 6), but at lower, newbie levels, it's a rampant mistake players make.
Can not stress the fact not to give up. Even if you hit rough on drive and opponent hits on fairway you could still get close and chip in and tie or when win
Also, I think you went past it but be in a clan and setup 2 to 3 bags is huge, and know which bag will help you. I have a bag for all long shots, a bag for accuracy, and a couple hybrids...
This. I maxed out every tour til 6 as quickly as I could (180 games or so) and have hit a bit of a wall. You're sitting there in 11+ mph headwinds with your basic balls and (just barely) level 3 xtra mile going up against opps with kingmakers or better, level 7 xetra miles, and 10k+ games played. You can still win most of the games even with low-level clubs and basic balls as most opps not so op, but those mega-opps with their 480 yd drives are pretty intimidating. Makes you wanna backtrack/slow down for chest openings, for sure.
Love the game!! Took me over a year to hit 1000. I've made it to tour 7 but still play on tour 6 often as I haven't maxed it. Appreciate the help buddy!! THANKS!!
I would say instead of moving back a tour, find the tour you are best at, agree your bankroll is key, but I was struggling on 5, 6 went back to 7 and found success
I've made them all but I never give up sometimes luck falls on ur side don't get greedy that's how I play work ur bank roll right thanks for ur tips because it does make think
I really farley new to this I've done ok but it's really like you said when you play people better than you take that time to learn how they play I don't let it bug me if I loose it gives me the opportunity to try things I normally wouldn't do keep up the visions great to learn from
You’re the greatest RJ, this reminds me of the old school Disney cartoons that had the instructional commentary. Great vid man, wish ya millions of views!
I made all the mistakes :( but I’m like a kid jumping on the bed once I fall off I won’t do that again hopefully. Keep up the good work and good luck in the tourney!
How’s it going? I have a question about golf balls. How do you know when to use a good ball and when do know to use a bad ball? And what is the best ball to use? 0:22
Found your vid very interesting. Can you tell me how a player can accrue 3million coins and only have played 750 games with a 60% win ratio. I’ve only won 350k coins with 1100 games and 66% wins . I don’t get it . I’m in rookie 3 league by the way , name truckerkeith. Thanks
Surely you've figured this out by now, but for anyone else wondering...that other player was simply playing higher tours. They are more difficult as are the opponents, so his skill/club level might have been higher than your own, even though his win rate is lower. Higher tours pay out much more than lower tours. If he's winning more than he's losing on pro series tours, it's easy to see why he has that amount of coins after "just" 750 games. The converse is also true. You might have come across someone who has played 14,000 games and an 85% win rate but only has 250 trophies. This is a clear sign of a bully making his living off smashing noobs on tours 1 and 2. The first thing I look at after win rate is trophy count. This combo will tell you the true skill of the player more or less.
Talk about stuff with instant gratification if you heed info; jump off surfaces that look ok when lining -but put you in the drink even if you shoot is perfect hit
Use any ball you want whenever you want (if you can afford it). It teaches you what balls do what. Saying don’t use anything but a basic ball through tour six is what people with experience say. Everyone used upgraded balls in the beginning. We all did. I say don’t sweat the balls. 😂
Made all of them I’m stuck can’t seem to move up I got tour 8 open but to chicken to take the chance almost had tour 7 closed out then lost almost all of it back what your suggestion should I keep banging on it
When is it a good time to upgrade my clubs? Have a few standards and rare clubs available for upgrading but still not worth using and expensive (bankroll management)...
I thought you mentioned in your video..if your going to upgrade clubs which are most important..I can't seem to find it..perhaps it was in a comment. So I need to ask! I've maxed out my clubs for the moment but when I'm able to..what are the most important clubs I should upgrade.. I thought you had said the driver and another club. Thank you in advance for any help there!! Have a wonderful day!
It's not about finishing up your trophies just to move up a tour if you looking after your bank roll. By your accounts you'll need to grind tour 7 till you hit 6million in order to advance to tour 8 with 20x your buy in.
the mistake i make is not hitting perfect on the green zone, always lose by that... i try to keep it on the fairway close to the hole because i can wedge it easy
Right now I can’t hit perfect to save my life, luckily I haven’t gone off the fairways (just dumb luck) and tips you could offer would be appreciated, I am in learn or burn on Facebook and if this topic is broached there I would be right in there, as I do need to improve my game again
If you lose playing in a tournament does it still show in your stats ? Like your win/lose and win percentage ? Because i saw something on a tip when the hole was loading it said something about tournament loses don’t go against you or something to that affect but didn’t understand what that meant. I have never played a tournament and have zero knowledge on them however I have played about 290 games
I moved up to Pro1 and can't seem to win even on beginner holes🤔 basically 3 out of 7... I'm losing mostly shoot outs and my bank is just 80+k... but I have 170+ gems any ideas???
Hi Rj ! I'm struggling with 2 n 4 my shot n game golf course looks the same out come not. I'm Loser. Love the game but sending toooo much funds. I'm hopeless help please.
Can't stand it when I aim perfect like many times before, and I either release bad or perfect and ball doesn't clear sand so I don't get roll to green. Just venting. Pretty fucking pissed I can't beat bots...
