Palmer really didn't " choke " in 1966. He just was too aggressive, and too bold. Palmer was deeply loved by millions and millions around the world. Most popular golfer ever !!! ⛳⛳⛳

It's tough to think of the greatest golf collapses of all time. Lefty had some but through that period I still loved to watch his fearless style of play. Same with John Daly. Having fallen apart more than a few times on the golf course, I admire the pros and the way they usually handle that intense pressure.

Mike Reid collapsed on 18 in the PGA in 1989, at Kemper Lakes. He was leading by two and triple bogied the 72nd hole !! What a choker !!!! ⛳

Even the best golfer fails at some point and it is entirely natural. If you don't fail you will never learn. But it felt bad when the best golfer fails to deliver when they are on the spot.
