Pete!'s back! I was gutted at those missed gimme putts, though. Just laser focus on keeping your eye on the ball during the pautter backswing and keep looking at the grass where the ball was AFTER it's been hit for at LEAST two full seconds afterward. Heck, I'd say don't even look up at all on putts that are 6 feet and shorter until you hear the sweet clink and dribble sound of the ball entering and going into the hole. All that was happening this time Pete was the cardinal sin of looking at the ball right after contact (and therefore turning your head/shoulders and aiming direction) which sent the ball off line just enough to veer off target. You can do it next time, Pete! We're rooting for ya!

Like others have said I’ve not seen the course looking so bad guys, definitely had an effect on the putting. Great video all the same and hats off to you all for getting off the flight and playing straight away.

Very entertaining, thanks, and great to see you back at TL as it brings back memories of previous good videos . I must say that Mr B was very calm having taken so many to get out of that bunker. What’s happened to the course though guys? It looked pretty rough with grass growing in the bunkers, shabby tees etc. Sad to see.

Next time you got a bunker shot Mr Barlow you can go in any other bunker than the one you’re ball is in and and take a few practice swings to get the feel for it ……and it’s totally legal 👍🏼👍🏼

I see Liam has said it’s £40 a round,which is fair enough,it also looks like it’s rained a bit and the bunkers have poor drainage? Add to some fuzeriam on the greens? Still nice to be playing in shorts and a t-shirt this time of year(don’t know when it was recorded tbf)

Great video guys. Liam, have you tried wrist putting? Mr Barlow seems to make more putts and has better distance control. He looks to be a wrist putter and you look like a shoulder putter.

What determines whether you can use gimme’s is whether you’re in a comp or not. Stableford/Medal makes zero difference. In a comp you can’t give putts because of the interests of the 20-80 other competitors who aren’t there to agree to the concession. You shd feel free to give player A putts as long as players B and C agree

Bang on, while it’s understandable when putt is 2 - 3 feet and is it a gimmie, less than a foot and tapping in just take it away. The comp in these videos is between the one group of players so a bit of common sense

In this area that is one of the lower standard courses in fairness and the price is reflective , golf is very expensive out here

The Tower Links greens were a bit "flffy", Not like when Simon was the Pro. The scores were a lot tighter than I expected, but the final results show the handicaps worked.

Great video as usual. Why is the condition of the course so poor? specially with ill greens and fariways so it cannot be just weather. Also may I say that the old editing (probaby Joe the crow) was very good and i think would fit better the content, for example when Barlow took 73 minutes to tee the ball, Joe would add some music and a clock counting the time etc, its just an example but overall would add a lot of character to some shots.
