Understandable why you should feel your game is not there, but on a other day it can come together it just got into your head today. Great video to show some great recovery shots considering where the drives had finished, every cloud has a silver lining is the best takeaway from this.
Hi Liam, I feel your pain mate. I played a stableford event last Thursday and had 12 points out and another 12 coming home. I drove well but couldn't find a green and putted okay. Those days are what brings us back next time. Liam i want your watch but do yo ever send your giveaways overseas as im in Australia?
Dear Liam, I've been watching your swing for 2 years now. The answer to your driver problem is in your grip, take away, left arm, hip thrust, pull down and the time to grind the pattern in. I analysed your swing in slow motion. Your grip is far too slice oriented. Your left hand needs to come much more over the top of the grip, and your right much more under the grip to encourage the face to close at the correct time. JBI. (just before impact). Makes a nice draw shot. Your take away is very low, wide and behind you, and you load up with the driver head way out behind you and flat. Your left arm is bent at the elbow as you begin to pull the club down without a pelvic turn and hip thrust, coming way over the top and pulling your head and shoulders about 4 inches down to compensate for you poor take away. The hip thrust and pelvic rotation toward the target is what should bring your driver down and through, but your swing is all arms. This is why your swing looks a bit loop-de-loop and has that pronounced out to in swing path, causing you to hit at the toe. The over pronounced spin as you finish is due to your horizontal rotation, like a baseball player. Check out all the good drivers, men and women. The girls get this right. Shoulders rotate through 60deg finishing with your left shoulder up in the air and your right shoulder pointing down at your tee point as you swing through. Happy grinding mate. "A great driver swing is a wonderful thing." I hope you know this comes from the heart. Ask Simon and he will back me up.
How is it when I watch your videos I feel like I’m playing alongside you all, wonderful. You got beaten by a better team. I want your golf balls (not you driver🫢
Great video! Some really good golf - from all 3 players. On another day some of those putts would have fallen and the record woudl have been broken easily. Shame you had to rush one of the holes and the weather came in - think that cost you too. Really enjoyed this video. Keep up the good work.
So your platform has given Simon six weeks worth of advance lessons and he can't fit you in for a daft hour at the end of a working day... Get back to Phil Archer, he's your man..
Really enjoyed watching the pensioners put the hammer down on poor Liam. Liam, I know how you're feeling as right now, I'm in the middle of the most severe slump I've ever experienced. Can't seem to hit driver, can't seem to putt and nearly everything in between is a disaster. Today was a little better. I figured out why I'd been topping the ball with my driver, but I'm not getting the distance I'm used to. Anyway, a very entertaining video of the highs and the lows of golf. Aloha!
