Very good info for the BRAIN how do you calculate slope percentage and how does that equate to amount of break ( Approx)

Hey Ged, Hope all is going well. Just curious if you implemented some of these tips from Andy Gorman in your own game or not? Also just wanted to share this little nugget that has helped me tremendously. When watching this I know Andy was talking about around 10 feet your putt breaks about 2 inches for every degree of slope on average. There is a mathematical way of calculating this almost every time no matter where you are and only takes a second. I believe its the same thing that some of the Pro's are using Called Aimpoint express I believe? But basically you walk about half way to the hole of your putt, standing normal on the high side of the putt, so left side if it breaks left to right, or right side if it breaks right to left. Get a feel for about how many degrees of slope it is. Say 2 degrees, you go back stand behind your ball and hole up first 2 fingers lining up your index pointer fingers with the middle of cup, the outside of the other finger is your line. Whats amazing about this is no matter the distance this will always be right if you can get the degree of break right and obviously with double breaking putts this is different but in general on regular putts that break you can get a really great read this way and start to play enough break. I just thought it was cool, I have started this and can't believe the results. On average most amateurs play 100% too less break, and doing this you will probably err on the side of slightly too much break or at least much much closer then what your eyes will tell you. Its pretty awesome.. Sorry for wall of text I just wanted to share that, its helped me to get reads so much better and then allow me to just forgot about the line, I can then just stroke the putt with 100% confidence in my line and focus on just making a great putt with speed correct. Line is never a thought know in my head. -Shawn

Yes the Aimpoint Express seems to be very popular on tour at the moment. I will be doing the course later in the Spring and will be looking to see how it fully works. I have worked on a couple of the points we covered so far, I need to get my putter lengthened to get my posture correct.

why does Andy always look so angry, like he'd rather be doing something else?

I've got to say Alex he is one of the most passionate coaches I've ever met, and he knows his stuff too. Couldn't see him as a Kwik-Fit Fitter to be honest !!!! lol
