Being retired and playing at places where motor carts are required, I find I don't really need one anymore, but the ones I have are the large 68-inch double-canopy variety. I liked using them mounted on my 3-wheel pushcart.

Understand what your saying about putting them back into the covers, BUT, how often do you need to do that ? Only last week i put my umbrella in my golf bag, Thought i had used the small velcro strap to secure it, no idea how, but it decided to open in the bag, , so had to destroy it to get it out of the bag, So might be a good idea to use the sleeve ?

Absolutely if it's going back in the main part of your bag rather than strapped onto the side

So now, just found out one of the pockets on the side has a hole at the bottom, and there is a loop after that, so i can put the umbrella in and through the pocket and into the loop hahahah @@GolfShopOnline
