Queen of tap in par putts! So appreciative of all the effort in creating these enjoyable videos - the commentary, the shot tracker, video the camera set up and now the graphic box. The best golf channel on youtube!
Hi Gen, just those poor greens on the forest course, course design ok, but not in same quality as hills and lakes. You called it the walking nine, well as a green fee player, it's the one they nearly always force you to play even in the other nines are pretty empty. Can be challenging moving from ultra slow forest to fast but grainy hills. Loved your fast play hills nine and most specifically the slow mo's. Beautiful extended arc and balance on your driver. Great this time around you didn't have the hassle from officials about playing from the ladies tees. Thanks as always Gen, total inspiration!
Hi Gen We love your new info text box. It enhances your video - love it. Some info is more important that other but please keep it going. It’s worth it. Great game too. We love seeing you break par but also having a good time as well as teaching us stuff. (Australia)
Another beautiful video from a beautiful course, this one seems to be a really URBAN golf course with all the noise and the proximity to the buildings, streets and railway... Honestly, if I did lean against the little brick-wall house with my glutes, it would fall to pieces - haha! Keep up your good mood, Gen!
I appreciated the corner infographic. With shot tracing, slow mo, captions, enviro audio and hi res, the vid felt like a tourney broadcast. Following you on Instagram too. Like the split of content.👍 Sometimes I pull a driver shaft across my back as an improvised massage stick when I get really stiff.
Oh my - I thought you guys had been caught up as we are in a complete lock-down. Great to be watching golf in the good weather - well better than here in the UK where it's damp and freezing! Did you get Michele Low to start vlogging BTW. I've seen her with you on some videos so I guess you know each other. Are you both deliberately staying off each others' topics - she seems to be doing some very nice lessons - plenty of those to do before she runs out of ideas - and your course based lessons, and experiences, which feel just like playing lessons, are super and so different to almost any other golf videos I've watched over the years. Keep them coming - it's so good to be out on the course with you in good weather and learning from you all the time.
Haha, she's a coach so she does more of the coaching side of things. I don't coach so I'm doing the playing side of things! Not intentional, just because that's what we're doing right now I guess! And yes, we're good friends, she's like my older sister in golf! 😄
Hi. I’m a long time, but below average golfer and yet I’m still passionate about the game and play as often as possible. I discovered your channel a few weeks ago and I really like the overall content of your play and how you explain your shot thoughts. As a native Malaysian, did you speak English prior to going to the States? Your English is very good and you express your thoughts on the golf course so well. Keep narrating your videos and ignore those people who think you’re a Chatty Cathy. 😊
If only all my chunks landed 30 feet from the hole..😀 First World problems Gen, happy new year, looking forward to more great content this year Stay safe 👍
That chip on the 8th was so nice to watch. Landed low with spin, just off of the green. I'm sure gen could've hit a flop shot but her chips behave so well I doubt she'll ever need to show off like that :-)
Plenty of tap in pars on the front 9! Was the shot tracer off on hole 4? - it showed you going right away from the water, but you ended up on the green to the left near to the water. Another good vlog Gen. Good to watch, as we are in lock down in the UK.
Great Vlog again Gen! Are you guys still ok to travel around? 3,000+ cases in Malaysia every day now💁♂️ All because of local elections on the East of Malaysia! 🙈⛳😷
Super impressed with the swing and rhythm, any chance you could post a slow motion one ? Enjoyable to watch and learn, especially the course management side of things
Loving the new shot counter info box thingy! are you using photoshop to create it and then placing it in the video? i realize the placements differ ever so slightly each time so im assuming you're manually adjusting the location of the box. you can try to create the graphics in the 1920x1080 canvas so you can get more consistent placements of the graphic box each time and also takes alot of time off cos you wont need to manually adjust the position for each shot.
I've never seen anything like it. But if I'm ever on that course, I'll sit near that little brick building, in case Gen happens by. "Um, good morning, ma'am!"
Thank you for making a great day even better. I just returned from a round of golf. Here in Denmark located in Scandinavia, it's cold-ish at the moment 1C/33F. I know you went to Boise State in Idaho, do you miss the colder weather? Or you okay with the heat and humidity? :D
Great chip at the 8th. That was a tough shot - and followed it up with a sidehill putt. Watching your vlogs - the number 1 strength of your game is definitely your short game. Chipping and short putts. I get confused with the recorded distances of your putts - it says 33 feet - but you only cover that distance with about 12 steps. That's almost 3 feet per step. I'm 5'10" and my normal step distance is about 2 feet per step.
Thanks! Yeah, usually when I pace off yardages i'm more accurate but 1 of my step is 1 yard so 3 feet. I'm probably a bit less accurate on the greens cause I don't take as big of steps but I used to practice on the football field cause I went from using meters to yards so I can kind of know what a 1 yard steps feels like :)
@@GenevieveLingGolf Your driver swinging is really looking smoother - I love that IG clip where you belted that driver. Great visual for me when I go out and play.
Great video as usual Gen. Learning so much on course mgmt from u. I dont mean to be a jerk but why do u move yr ball on the fairway... is that allowed? 😅 Also can you do a WITB video. Thanks much Gen.. happy PKP 😂
12 hours later, I am heading out to play near my home. I have a t-shirt, collared shirt, sweater, and a hoodie on. I am also sporting a nice warm pair of thermal underwear bottoms. I'm hoping the hoodie comes off by 11:00 this morning... it's 39 degrees (F), feels like 31. But I'm playing golf!
Listening to your voice over is like listening to a broken record. Suggest you Refrain from repeated words over and over again. Ex. Club carry to carry bunker etc etc😂
Hi Gen When are you going to play on the LPGA? Your game is good enough...would love to watch you play live....love your swing...are you currently playing a tour? Thanks.
@@GenevieveLingGolf sorry, trying to understand....are you saying you are playing on a tour but because of Covid you can't play right now? Sorry...just trying to learn...thanks.
@@monserratetirado1603 No worries. Yes, I have a card on China and Taiwan, and play around south east asia but due to covid, we couldn't compete since last year.. :(
@@GenevieveLingGolf Great, thanks for letting me know. I will be watching for you as i'm now a fan. Please stay safe and keep the videos coming because they are very entertaining. Take care Gen...keep smiling.
Hi, Gen! I watched most of your video and learn a lot of course management. I have been playing golf 7 years, I feel hard to improve my golf afer become single HC player. I like to see your happy golf but little bit tire for see your black and white outfit. You said you very love golfing, so, you should make up and dress up as going to dating your lover when you are on the course. I know you are busy all day and not time to take care it........! Do you speak Chinese?
