On the Iron Head Covers....Absolutely yes if you are storing or traveling with them but not on the course. I clean my clubs after every shot so having covers to put back on as well is too much fiddling about when on the course.

Petes new clubs look class. You could see the difference in the fitting videos and they seem to be working for him on the course. 1 thing on the irons though, please DONT get headcovers for them 🙏🏼😂 Seed I want your golf balls 🤞🏼

Liam: I suffer from Gout bigtime. 8 years ago my Doc said "I know you like your beer, but you have a choice. You either give up Beef and Pork, and vastly reduce sugar, or you give up your micro brewery beer". I gave up beef and pork. Basically if it has 2 legs or fins, I eat it. If it has 4 legs I keep away. Tough choice but 8 years in, it works. Give it a go and you'll see I'm right.

@@starflash08 I used to get it bad and my Doctor's advice was right. No red meat or pork. No attacks in over 8 years. I eat bread and shrimp/prawn. It's all about combinations and triggers when dealing with gout. You and I would have grown up around 10 miles or so apart. I live in the US now since 1990. The bacon is crap here so I don't crave the bacon butty! There are no pie shops etc. I eat chicken curry instead of steak, and so on. I also found one of the biggest culprits is sugar. You have to reduce it. Don't use white sugar (it's bleached and bad for you anyway). Use raw can sugar (also known as turbinado sugar). Also, stay away from carbonated drinks. Feel like jumping off a cliff yet? :-) Good luck mate. It's about managing what is a slight kidney defect. Your body is producing too much uric acid. It's deadly when you can't even stand the weight of a bed sheet on it!

I went into my fitting with an open mind having been a Mizuno man for my last 3 sets. I got fitted for Cobra forged irons but I’m still hitting mizuno forged wedges and had new ones fitted to fit in with my iron set. Love the combo and it works. Love new shiny fitted clubs, just great getting out on the course with them ⛳️🏌🏻

Head covers for sure. I'm building a bag that doesn't let the clubs clack together. Then I won't need covers. We all love covers to protect our irons.

After watching Ebays fitting, we are all expecting big things of Pete's game. Fingers crossed. Seed, I want your golf balls. The SD02 is my favourite, used them to good effect last season, told all my mates about them, handed a few out to good friends to try. They went on to buy some too. Pete I want your 3 wood. Thanks.😄

I have the Callaway Ai Smoke 7w and 3w and, i agree with Pete, the 7w is amazing. Also, just bought iron head covers to stop the clanging and marks....go for it Pete.

I don't mind head covers for irons, as I had them for my irons. It helped keep them from getting scratched up, and kept the groves on my irons from getting dings on the club face. Mainly because I always walked. Seed, I want your golf balls!

Thanks for all the videos you make. I work in the golf club industry and Pete looks really good in the new clubs (did watch the fitting was very good). So me it’s a no for iron covers 😂 and you guys better watch out you may need to ask for strokes lol. Thank again for all the vids.

Absolutely he should get head covers. That’s why my irons still look very nice and my playing partners look terrible. But most people don’t care what there possessions look like. My truck looks almost new and it’s an 09. It depends on your self-respect and personality. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I agree head covers protect the face of the ions from damage while in the bag. Liam for heavens sake go and see the Doctor and get him to prescribe Allopurinol, I’ve had gout for 30 years but don’t get any problems now I take 2 pills in the morning. Good luck Pete with the new irons.

Another great video. Didn't think it was possible for Pete to look happier than he has in previous videos, but he just was in this video, and rightly so after getting new clubs.
