Thanks for your expert insights! Looking forward to trying out an AI Smoke driver. It's refreshing to see some playing tips that will reduce scores. Most golf instruction seems to focus on technical swing mechanics which is great for the driving range, but not so good to think about when actually playing the game (I believe too many swing thoughts are a recipe for a bad score).
I really enjoyed this video. Honestly, I could watch you hit the ball off the Tee over and over again it’s such a perfect image of strength , technique and grace. I would love to see you play nine holes with a partner, that would make a very entertaining and instructive video .
I have a question about using the club to measure the launch angle of the ball, by standing on the club-face, like you demonstrate at 7:40. You mention this is OK in a private round, so are you saying it isn't allowed during a competition? If it is not OK for the player to do it, I think it might be OK for a caddy to do it, because I first saw this done in a pro tournament where the caddy tested the launch angle just like that. I've done it myself a couple of times in club competitions, but didn't realise it wasn't allowed.
Well I don't think that even a caddy could do it. But maybe I am wrong. But as a player you surely cant do it.... Its like a tool which could help on course, like if you would lay the club along your feet to line them up. Also not allowed...
