Golfing to Break 90 | Back 9

After shooting 44 on the front, including a triple, three doubles, a bogey, two pars, and two birdies, you get a sense for why my golf game is a complete roller coaster ride. I need to shoot 45 or better on the back in order to break 90.
One of my golf goals for 2023 is to average a score of better than 90 for the year on my home course, Salem Golf Club, i Salem Oregon. As a 19 handicap (for now) I play off the middle/white tees, which clock in at 5842 yards on the scorecard. This is totally doable!

Way to grind out the back 9 to break 90. A little help from the golf gods never hurts and another clutch downhill put to close it out. This course has a pretty cool layout and I love those trees. After watching this video I found out that I'm not the only one that plays other fairways to get to the hole.

The trees are really beautiful… if you aren’t playing golf at the time! Nah, it’s a fun old course that really is pretty, close to my house and office, and has a super laid back vibe.membership. All fairways are game!
