One trick I learned to do is take the bridge block, cook it as hot as can be , then drop it in cold water. Treat it till it became solid as can be, it makes all the sound difference! !

I had one , 50’s reissue, I did the fret job and got it to play great, it had Stratocaster sounds . The one thing that is lower quality is the Rosewood on the neck, mine had full thickness body. I had only paid 80$ , it was great I could take it on walks down to the river and never have to worry.. sad it got stolen, it had sentimental value, I ended up buying a mex strat, got it to play great, then I built 2 more 100% Stratocasters & one more I haven’t finished…I’m still hoping I will find my Squire Strat. What can I say 15 guitars and I still miss 2 that were stolen

I picked one up from Cash Converters in Belfast about 15 years ago for 70 quid and she looks and plays like a dream.

A hint Austen. The HARDER the metal ( Titanium, Steel, Stainless, etc) the SLOWER one should drill. (We drill Titanium at a mere 500rpm. Believe me it's SLOW going.) Likewise the softer the metals (IE: Aluminum, Brass, Copper, etc) the faster one can drill. I agree the TEMU bits aren't the best. If there's a discount tool outlet (Such as Harbor Freight, or even WalMart) you can pick up some relatively decent drill bits at a decent price. Great video as per your usual. By the way, my true identity is Gilbert/Gil (I use that name when I'm NOT fighting crime, corruption, & malfeasance, here in the seamy underbelly, of Central New Jersey. LOL)
