Well, I never get tired of orchids. I am still learning so much and this one has impressed me no end. How much fun is it growing orchids?
I try different things with all my plants to try to achieve a great result and this year with a bit more sun, this Gomesa has done so well. I'm gonna give a piece of this a go in a water well pot.
It is a gorgeous thing! I still see little fairies not little men, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Sweet little thing. Well, not that little but quite doable. Had 1 last yr. but it didn't like my care. I'm not deterred and will try again. BTW, are you familiar with "Hello Plant Lovers" and the wonderful fellow from Melbourne here on RU-vid? I just subscribed and he's a hoot but very interesting and grows without plant lights, greenhouse or anything out of the ordinary. Think he said he posts on Fridays. How lucky am I to have found you both, from Australia no less.

Hi there and yes I watch Hello Plant Lovers, he is great and very informative, I would like to know as much as him one day :) He is in quite a different climate to Sydney, I can grow warmer species here. Definitely do not give up hope, it is a beauty and has done better for me this year than last. I am going to try a water well pot when I repot, as explained in the video. I am interested to see how a piece of it will respond. Another great Chanel is Howard's Orchids in the UK, super interesting growing in harsh conditions of their winter, he has beautiful miniature specimens too. Very Interesting.
