@@spreadwuvokayyou didn't have to do us ult + melee enjoyers like that my guy. Nothing wrong with unbiased commentary OR biased commentary, as long as it's good commentary idgaf
They started the game at 9:49. At 9:50 you can hear Sheik (inky) lose a stock to start the game at 3 stocks. You can hear Sheik lose another stock at 10:17 because Lucky and inky were actually playing the match by this point.
Watched the Ultimate Smash battle and coming here. Seeing the skill difference in mechanics proves melee holds a higher ceiling skill ceiling and precision. The speed makes it so much worth the watch IMO.
- The World : Mostly composed of americans - No Leffen, Prof Pro, Amsah, Ice, Pipsqueak, N0ne - Stocks aren't even respected - Unbalanced teams Truly one of the Melee crew battle of all time. Staff should be ashamed.
Lmao Moky is just mad be got destroyed by zains Roy. There’s a reason why zain is #1 and Moky is #13 on the most recent power rankings, zains just the better player and Moky is mad about it
Frenzy's such a scumbag for letting Axe throw away two stocks and then not offering to replay when he told him 😂 He tried to hold it down for the world, I respect it lol
Commentator radar, I don’t know who you are but if you are watching this I legitimately found the moving the candy thing like it was Randal at 6:00 to be funny :)
Lol totally agree with Radar, Sheik bodies Falcon and Marth. Only reason she isn’t top 3 is because she loses to Fox. If Fox wasn’t in the game, Sheik would be the perfect character.
i think falcon is overall not that disadvantaged vs sheik. he has one of the most fatal edgeguards vs her and can abuse his speed and cc to make it scary for sheik to use tilts or aerials in neutral. he does still get tech chased very hard and is easily edgeguarded himself but it's probably like 45:55 rather than "bodied". sheik probably loses to falco and puff as well as fox
@@ryanguerrero2327 That was just game 3, but I appreciate it! I know before at some tournaments if they weren't able to stream some sets, they would still record the inputs on slippi and be able to upload that at least. That's what I'm hoping for here
Im not super good. Win a couple games at regionals get 2nd at the smaller locals. I almost beat the 199th player on ranked with my samus bc they played Roy. I can tell you from experience samus wins vs Roy. Roy does have counterplays samus rockets but it all involves him throwing a move out. His best bet is getting constant grabs in neutral and side b and forward smash when you think they'll hit. You have to play really patient as the roy
Curious, if one crew member starts the game with less than 4 stocks, why not just start at GO and fight until you've lost the correct amount of stocks (i.e. self destruct the LAST stock, so no countdown or neutral reset)
less confusing for spectators. tournaments did this in the past and everyone always asked questions about it. actually i distinctly remember twitch chat during at least one event just being totally filled with questions lmao. from what i recall, a common source of the confusion was when people would see a player that had lost, for example, two stocks against the previous opponent lose another two in the next game, which would ofc mean theyre eliminated. noob spectators, or those not paying attention, assumed the elim'd players were throwing upon seeing them SD to delete their remaining two stocks and end the game
I could also see some complications if the competitors die close to the same time. Easier to SD at the start and go off the results screen than to do instant replay review, I imagine.
Where on Earth are all of the Melee sets for GOML 2023??? I miss BTS because they never did this to us. Stop showing Ultimate so much favoritism and post our sets!
Let me guess, melee TO's again hosting illegitimate crew battles by having players like zain playing for "the world" team despite being born in Reston, Virginia and never living outside of the US.
@@rkyleramos excuse me then. Couldn't be bothered to watch. You might consider asking fete 3 TO's why Zain played for south Asia for the same reasons I listed above. It kinda ruins the point of comparing local talent/scenes doesn't it? It would be like Florida borrowing Colbol for a crew battle. Or maybe ask goml TO's why hungrybox is on team world despite living in the US for at least 90% percent of his life? But noooo. The integrity of a fair crew battle does not matter because 'its just a game'
