When I first experienced Thursford over 30 years ago, I was instantly drawn to the magic of these amazing organs. It was great to come back and see it all again!

The sound on this video really doesn't do it justice, going round in a gondola car at the time haha. It is one of my favourites too though, beautiful tone, and an impressive amount of volume for the size of it.

This is one of the few fairground rides I'd actually enjoy, apart from the ark and the Gallopers.

The gondola ride seems like one of the only steam operated fairground rides available in the world now.

Alas it's been running electrically for decades now. Looks like all the original steam gear is still present though, I wonder if they ever fire it up?
