To me it seems like the friends were against her from the start that then started her paranoia. She was probably checking his phones/emails to see if he was going to break it with her. When he started dating others the paranoia made her go insane and gave her the mindset of "if i can't have him no one will". Not trying to justify Jodi actions but i hate how this is making Travis seem as this perfect human being. Travis also had a part to play in this story and her losing her marbles.

Hoo-wee he certainly was a “Multi-Level Mormon” in every respect. These “friends” of his didn’t really give two farts about his breaking the sex covenant. No ma’am, they knew his upbringing made him damaged goods, and they took full advantage. They wrapped their Multi-Level-Mormon tentacles around this lost soul and they weren’t about to let him go. What’s also true is Jodi instinctively knew all of this from the moment she met him. She can read the room. And she quickly figured out the one thing that would pry him loose - the one thing his friends were powerless against. These jokers weren’t about to lose him to some opportunist. And yet, that’s exactly what happened.

I found that Travis's Friends were very toxic and did everything to break up the relationship.

The story about her eavesdropping was told differently before. I've heard them say they were in the room talking, and after suspecting they were talking about her, Jodi stepped into the opened doorway with an evil look on her face. Now they're saying they were talking and Travis walked over to a closed bedroom door, and snatched it open to find her standing there. We know Jodi was deeply troubled so there's no need to fabricate anything. Just tell the damn story as it happened.

She was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder and narcissism. People are not usually born with these disorders - they are defence mechanisms. I am not writing this to justify what she did to Travis, there's no excuse, and personality disorders, unlike mental diseases, cannot take off responsibility of a person for their actions. So as much as I agree Jodi should spend the rest of her life behind bars for her crime, I think it is good to look deeper into this case to fully understand what happened. It was interesting to watch Jodi's father talking about his own daugther like "She was a liar, we were such good parents and she was evil". What parent does that in a situation like this? A loving father/mother would do what they could to present her in a good light, to help her. His father acted like a narcissist. Both her parents might be ones, or one of them might be an enabler. BPD is a result of emotional neglect or abuse, so is narcissism in most cases. She was terrified of being abandoned. As I said, I am not defending JA. She is a murderer and the crime was very cruel. Travis is obviously the victim here. But to talk of him like he was a saint... Sure, she used sex and manipulated him as narcissists do, but he also used her. He kept her on the side, dating other, more "worthy" women, while using Jodi for sex. She was desperate not to be abandoned. The rest is history. Can you imagine how it could have been should both of them have normal families and loving parents? She would not have become this empty shell with no empathy, she could have become a lovely young woman and a successful artist and photographer, with all these talents that she has. He would most likely not have joined the Mormon church, would be just a normal guy and not a hypocrite - would enjoy a sensual and sexual side of their relationship without guilt. It's awful that so many parents neglect, abuse and don't love their children, who then become these wounded adults who are not able to create healthy relationships with other people.

i almost was a jodi arias 15 years ago...and it is scary to see the mirror in many situation of who i was....

0:24 so this photo was taken when they were in California at some PPL reward/work retreat…it was at the tail end of a week long trip they took to see Iconic Mormon spots and to sleep together without people seeing….or hearing. However- Stabby says that right at the start of this trip she scrolled through his texts when he was napping and she discovered he was “cheating “ on her….so she decided they simply couldn’t be together anymore and she was going to break up with him after the trip and she was absolutely heartbroken and devastated at his betrayal….which is clearly obvious in this photo as we can easily see her pain and heartbreak due to his cheating…….and during the trial when she was on the stand her attorney asked her …” But, Jodi, if you knew about this and you were hurt and planned on breaking up with him, why continue with the trip?’ Her ludicrous response…” well….we were in Huntington Beach…there’s shops and pools and hot tubs!”
