In my opinion. Travis didn’t look like he was emotionally attached to Jodie at all, it looked more like friends with benefits kind of relationship from the documentaries I seen about the case. Their entire relationship was built on sex, Jodie couldn’t keep Travis even after converting to Mormon, from what I seen the only thing keeping them afloat was sex nothing more. So I guess Travis saw how easy it was to get Jodie in bed he realized she’s not the one for him. He was just stringing her a long until he found a suitable woman (I guess) It’s like that saying says “Easy come easy goes.” And I believe Jodie knew he didn’t really love her so she used it to her advantage, she knew Travis couldn’t turn her down for sex. He was definitely playing with fire though 🔥 when he ended it with Jodie he should’ve cut off all communication with her but him being a horny guy he couldn’t resist. And it’s crazy because the day he was killed was the day he let her in his house and they had sex. The camera the cops found was full of erotic pictures and pictures of Travis in the shower right before she killed him. He didn’t deserve to die but they were both toxic to each other and sorry to say but he brought it upon himself

What he did was wrong. No doubt about that. I don't blame her for being angry and upset and spiteful. However, there is no excuse for murder. What she did was wrong. She should have walked away from the relationship instead of holding onto somebody who clearly didn't want her. She wasn't forced to stay with him. She chose to follow him around and that's on her.

Narcissists don't kill themselves. They blame others for their problems.

Jodi is a sociopath and there’s no excuse for what she did. Not all sociopaths are murders, but when pushed they can become unhinged and their lack of empathy will allow them to justify things that others cannot. Unfortunately, it seems Travis’ childhood trauma created many narcissistic tendencies in him which fueled the fire of how toxic the whole situation was. His friends honestly seem to have some of these tendencies as well and at minimum really enjoy the spot light. That Sky woman “just knew” SO much and while she may have sensed something was off, she blows it way out of proportion for dramatic effect. I grew up with an entire family full of narcissistic/narcissists and my ex husband was on the sociopath scale. It’s definitely very sad that a life was lost but it’s messed up that his “loved ones” are using his death to benefit them in any capacity.

I feel for both Jodi and Travis in this case. He used her and lead her on when he had absolutely NO intention of going long-term with her. When you mess with someone's emotions, they tend to snap. Sure, she was definitely in the wrong for killing him but he wasn't an innocent victim who was attacked for no reason. This is one of those cases where everyone was in the wrong; Jodi, Travis, and his culty friend group.

My theory on the big argument is this- There are messages that weren’t included in the trial where she tells him she “really screwed the pooch this time” and that she would be calling a lawyer asap about it. Travis is obviously asking “what?? What is it!!? Hello?!?” Then all of those messages stop, as if they spoke on the phone about this issue. This “incident” she’s made up is pure manipulation on her part, desperate to get his full attention in any form, as usual. Later, in comes the famous wrath from Travis. She wrote in her journal near this time that she believed her phone to be stolen. In trial, she says that this stolen phone was indeed the phone that had the x-rated recording on it. (We all know it was never stolen as it magically resurfaced just when she needed it for trial) On to my confident theory- I believe she told Travis that her phone was stolen…and I think she confessed that she recorded their “pillow talk” and that it was indeed on this stolen phone. She probably told him that the x-rated photos he sent her was also on the phone, never deleted, like he assumed they would be. Travis, due to his religion and reputation, would obviously be MORTIFIED if that recording, possibly photos, and texts were to ever land in anyone else’s hands. He had no idea about the recording. Anyone in his position would absolutely FLIP OUT, as he did. The fact that she keeps telling him things like, “I never intended this, I never intended to hurt you.” I believe that is her saying, “but I never thought anyone would ever have access to the recording and the private things we did. I didn’t mean for anyone to ever have that phone, it’s not MY fault, it was stolen. (Don’t mind the part where I recorded you without your knowledge).” Edit to Add: I know this is already long but I did want to include a possible twist in my theory. They are also arguing about a woman named “Marie” (whom she says, in trial, was not MiMi Hall) who came into her work and told her all these things about Travis and Lisa. This all prefaces the big blow up from Travis. He is telling Jodi that he knows this is a lie, this “mysterious” woman doesn’t exist, if she does exist, he wants proof NOW and wants her last name. Jodi avoids giving him any more info on this woman (because this story of hers is fake and Jodi is once again being manipulative) and Travis knows it’s another typical BS story. He makes it clear, he doesn’t believe it one bit. Shortly after, in comes the “screwed the pooch, need a lawyer” text. Here’s the POSSIBLE twist in my theory- Could Jodi have told Travis that she believed “Marie” in fact had her phone with these recordings. Something like “my phone happened to come up missing after this encounter with this woman who says she knows you and Lisa, Travis.” In other words, the x-rated things in that phone could land in Lisa’s hands. Just so happens, right before all of this happened, he sent messages to Chris Hughes about how he misses Lisa and he messed up his life by messing up Lisa’s relationship with him. And we all know Jodi hacked into his emails and social media constantly, very likely seeing these recent messages about Lisa.

I feel those interview to one sided. I want to hear about people close to her. I want someone to sound neutral bevause there's too many statement that leaves me with doubt and suspicion that there's more to it.

The other guy she was dating (Ryan Burns) definitely dodged an RPG there. That could've easily been him.
