So wonderful. Although Daevid has slipped to another astral plane, thanks to you tube we can still experience his magic. This really is something special.
Seen these guys 4 times and every time they blew me away. Musically they're so talented and the story telling in their songs was unreal. Love them. RIP Daevid.

@@pressureworks I don't want to pretend to speak for that person , but I think al lot of people use the word " under rated" when they mean to say that they don't understand why they weren't more popular. Anybody who knows this band knows they're not under rated.

I love Going. They are such good musicians and set the standard for spacey jazz rock excursions. They're like sonic LSD. I'll never stop playing them. I was 15 when I first heard them back in 72.

+Darren Burch A bit of an understatement. No one sounds like Daevid on guitar. Check out some of his solo albums. David was a genius and a virtuoso and a wonderful human.
He was also a beautiful person ...both him and Gilli were friend I met after working on shows in the 90s ...No rock star attitude ...pure spirits ! I miss them both dearly
je les ai vus durant cette tournée je crois c'était à Valence dans la Drome il n'y avait pas grand monde mais deux heures de concert fabuleux , pfff quel souvenir
Oui, c'était un soir de pleine lune du mois d'octobre, température particulièrement douce pour la saison; et Gong presqu'au complet et une ambiance de connaisseurs, d'initiés; c'est toujours comme ça les concerts de Gong (j'en ai vu 4 à différentes époques, j'ai toujours été un inconditionnel !) depuis la première écoute d'Angels Eggs à l'époque de sa sortie.
ah ah oui, on étaient pas nombreux, nous on étaient venus de l'Aveyron dommage qu'on soit loin parce que j'adorerai jouer gong, ici il n'y a pas de vieux babas qui connaissent ça ...
oh ... gong ... bunch of druggies ...see the laptop ... look closer listen to the time signiature on the drums and the bass is NAILED compare this to the album from waaay back ...different instruments same sound playing in concert the breaks and time changes razor sharp give me those druuuugs!!!
