I could only ever dream of parking a trailer like that, (Gotta get my Class 1 first though 😁) I’m currently a class 2 driver and had a few lessons in an artic, driving them is fine but reversing blind sided scares the hell out of me and that’s what is putting me off getting it.
It was an okay reverse, but he shouldn't have started so close. How would he manage if he had to back in between two trailers - especially if they had tractor units still attached,
Show how tight it was because you had three bays to go at so that negates the need to get so close to the trailer already on the bay! Use the the space you have and clear the unit opposite then straighten up and reverse!
@@joelmyers8337 unfortunately you can’t see the obstructions on my near side. Also the trailers have pre selected bays to be placed on. Thank you for your input it will be taken onboard👍👍👍
@@Trucker-Eddy I understand you may have a specific bay allocated and no I can’t see the obstruction on your near side, granted! However I just thought maybe with three empty bays one of which is yours you could have used the space to make life easier to clear obstruction on the your near side and then get in your assigned bay. Just my opinion and obviously I wasn’t in the situation. As long as it’s where it needs to be without any incidents or accidents that’s all that matters! Stay safe out there
@@joelmyers8337 thank you. When I record it’s hard to emphasise the limited space in our yard. It’s all good in the end. Thank you for watching the video it’s much appreciated👍👍👍👍
@@Trucker-Eddy I work for a milk company delivering to and from farms...This work would give you heart failure if you seen a lot of our drops, and even better , we do it during the night where we have to manoeuvre between tight buildings and farm machinery in the dark..
@@Trucker-Eddy it's no use me putting videos up..1. Its pitch black at all my farms, 2. I barely have time to take my breaks, never mind you tubing 😂😂😂
