Is there anything you can do about the Loop Tools Addon being missing? I tried moving the files from my regular blender install, but they still don't show up in the Plugins list. Is there just some fundamental incompatibility under-the-hood? Frankly, I don't know how your animation studio lives without this plugin when you model your own characters. It happens with a lot of other plugins that ship with Blender, but Loop Tools just feels indispensable to me. How do you guys smooth out a bunch of parallel curved lines without the Relax button?!?!?

Dude it's open source (not this version specifically, literally any change/custom changes to the code you make with blender will remain open source wheather you like it or not), if the blender devs want these stuff inside native blender then they are free to do so. But they seem to hate us NPR enthusiasts somehow, I mean I know these things may break cycles/eevee but some things from the BNPR community members have been throughly tested and are made to not interfere yet the devs don't implement it. So annoying. I forgot what it was, but I remember one change that has been collecting dust for 3 or so years, even though the dev made sure to keep it clean.
My goo version of cycles only cpu can render, I thought cycles cpu may support the goo material, the results did not have any effect, so the 3.4 trunk of cycles to replace the goo cycles
Same. it appears as though they hide the download button behind a 5$ month paywall, which i am surprised they are allowed to do given that i believe blenders source code requires derivatives to be free and open source( I'm not entirely sure on that but i do know that is the main reason algorithmic didnt want to make a blender plugin because they didnt want to comply with those terms ). at any rate if you don't want to buy it then it looks like you will have to build it from source
