Should you buy the Airpods 3? Are the 3rd Generation Airpods Worth it? Should you buy the Airpods 3 or the Airpods Pro? What if I told you that I have never met anyone who wears their AirPods more than me - like, literally no one. So I’m not sure anyone was as excited as I was, when the 3rd Generation AirPods were announced. On the one hand, I could not wait to try them out, but I was also really nervous about one thing which unfortunately could be a deal breaker.
You see, I love the original airpods, I also have the Airpods Pro, which obviously have better features but I have been waiting for the 3rd generation Airpods to come out for so long - and the two most important things for me were the fit and the sound quality.

I watched your video out of curiosity.. and ended up mid way through your video, buying the AirPods 3 😆 I currently have the AirPods 1 and like you, I love the fit. I can't have the Pros as I hate the silicone tips so pretty excited for the Gen 3. Hope they will do great on the plane, because the audio for the Gen 1 on the plane definitely isn't great enough.

I got the Elago Liquid Hybrid case in the Stone colour way (non-hang variation because I don't like hanging stuff on my charging case) for my third gen AirPods and those are great too! Love the look and feel of it as well :)

thanks for this video really liked it loved the look of the armor case thinking about getting it when I order my airpod 3 generations. These are in my price range and I liked my nepghews and those are the ones that fit my ears.

Thank you for a very nice honest review. I have to agree with silicone tips. Find them uncomfortable and is really need to upgrade as I'm still on Airpods 1st gen. Love them but they getting old and unpredictable. I feel that your real review has pushed me to order the Airpods 3rd gen. Thanks. Liked & subbed.

I've been using the AirPods Pro for a while now and like them a lot. Recently, I found I needed a second pair of AirPods and didn't want to shell out for another pair of Pros, so I opted for the AirPods 3. Although they lack the noise cancelling feature of the Pro model, the overall sound quality, spatial audio, and longer battery life more than make up for that in my opinion. Personally I have no problem with the silicon tips of the Pro, but the 3s fit my ears very well, and are a lot more secure in my ears than the first and second AirPod versions. If you need a pair of AirPods, these are definitely worth checking out.

When it comes to the fit it is really a personal choice. The 1st and 2nd gen do not fit my ears at all, so I was waiting for apple to release a version with silicone tips, that is why the airpods pro are the only ones that fit my ears. It really goes down to what fits your ears!! 🤪

I love the 3 but I’d love black also. The fit is the best of any wireless airbuds way better than skull candy or anything similar with silicone tips . Great review 👂 👂

The pros are the reason I finally bought AirPods. They are amazing and I love the silicone tips. Gen 1 and 2 were always falling. And the anc is something I’m not living without anymore.

I love mine; amazing sound quality and decent fit. Love that they pair without any help from me. I put the case in an eyeglass case so it would be harder to lose. Probably will put an Airtag in as well since the case can't be found with the "Find My" feature.

I wish they could dynamically adjust volume to a preset but safe level based on environment noise levels so you dont have to manually raise volume to balance out background noise without necessarily drowning it out

I got the 3's because I work with audio a lot and having good headphones that are small to carry is very important. The audio quality is really good but I wish I could turn off adaptive EQ (maybe I can but I haven't figured it out yet) this is just because I need to control my own EQ when working so having the earphones mess with it on their own can get annoying. Also when making calls or eating they tend to start to fall out a bit whereas the 2's stayed put. So overall if you want AirPods you can wear when eating, talking and generally being on the move the 2's and 1's are better. But if you want better audio and won't really use them on call than the 3's win by far.

Airpods are so versatile bc everyone prefers a certain pair, like most people prefer the 3rd gens. You like the first and second and for me i love the pros

I have always imagined the Airpods Pro like this, with the option of putting eartips or not. Honestly, the only advantage of these earbuds is the automatic switch. If other manufacturers understand this and do like Huawei, Soundcore, Xiaomi (real connection to 2 devices at the same time) and Libratone (3 devices), the interest in Airpods will drop and the competition will be real. But seriously unless you necessarily want open-fit(in which case test the Soundpeats True Air 2 Plus or the 1More Comfobuds, you will be pleasantly surprised) and Apple, buy Airpods Pro or Soundcore Liberty 3 Pro.

I love the sound and features of the new 3’s however after 45 min they are uncomfortable for me. The 2’s still fit the best for my ear shape. For now, I keep both.

For the first time I heard someone loves 1'st and 2'nd Gen AirPods. I'm using 2'nd Gen everyday, when I'm working or walking. They fit my ears great, they never fall off my ears when I'm working which is great. I really wished that Apple would made something really close to Pro's because I really hate sillicon tips and they are hurting my ears. Can't wait for new year to afford them

Really thinking about getting them. I have the 2nd gen and the Pros. The silicone tips of the Pros just start bothering me after I have them on for long periods of time. The ANC of the Pros is just awesome, but I really don't use it that much. If the 2nd gen were sweat resistant, I think the would be a perfect fit for me.

The third gen is sweat resistance. Basically if you enjoy the original pros and don't want the tips then the gen 3s are for you. I have the gen 3 and the pros 2, both are great airpods but yeh the tips do bother me after a while with the pro 2.

Agree. Still stuck with my AirPods 2 . Is the best fit for me. I spend all day with at least one of them in my ear. I do not like the feeling of the tip on the pros unless I’m running and still they are not the best fit for me. But that is a very personal decision

i’m not sure if i want the 3rd gen or the pro? i know the bose soundsport free’s hurt my ear, but i’m not sure if the silicone tips would hurt. the sound sport DOES have silicone tips and hurt my ear, but the old airpods that my sister has fall out occasionally, help?

I can track my gen 3s through find my app and the case doesn’t have to be open. I can find them with the find my app even when case closed.

im only at 2,5 minutes by now but already love and appreciate this Review so much! I have been thinking a lot about getting the Airpods but im not sure which one would be the best choice, the original one or maybe the new 3rd gen. because i do like noise cancelling BUT i dont like the rubber tip because of the pressure on my ear..till now im still using my apple earphones with cable 😅 Big Thumbs Up. with my first/second gen i could forget they were in, i loved the fit and they didn’t give me issues with falling out like i always heard, i eventually upgraded because i couldn’t use them all day before i felt a pressure like pain build up in my ear, the audio quality got bad and the gen 3s weren’t out, i bought my pros and i was worried about the ear tips but they never made me feel any concern about them, i almost instantly forgot about them, the gen 3s i love the audio (my pros have a lot of wear and use on them so they aren’t as good as they first were but still good) but they do give me concern about falling out, after a little it goes a way but i feel that they could fall even tho they fit like my first gen and when i shake my head they don’t budge.

I prefer the silicone tips I had 2’s and currently have pros and I wear them all day and they fit beautifully and I will admit every once in a while they seem to suddenly dislodge but you can feel it as it starts to and easily get it back in place before they fall

Fit is better than airpod pros. But not as good as gen2 regular AirPods. Sound is way better on 3. I used stick on friction things for retention. So, I think my impression is similar. FYI I think the longer stem aids fit for some folks. Kinda like a rudder or a tail for balance.

My airpods never stay in and have been so temperamental regarding losing connection or just cutting out! My experience. Had to resort to using Beats- the ones that loop over the ear. Flawless. Anyway.... If I were to give it another go, I would get the beats thingies that fit in the ear with the little "wing" that stays in the ear with gentle pressure from the design.

$207 (local price) for a throw away item in 2 years 3 max is hard to swallow… umm $329 for iPad. I hate corded earplugs especially for video calls when I need to walk around, but at $35 a pair it’s hard to beat the value.

I ordered a pair of these and they had a horrible coil whine and hissing noise, I replaced them 3 times still with the same issue and decided to go with the pros. kinda sad because i actually liked the fit and comfortability of them but until that problem is fixed im sticking with the pros. I would wait for a fix or if you buy them to check for this issue

The old ones never fit me, and the newer type of in-ear pods from other brands that do fit kinda give me sensory issues, just can't stand things in my ears. The problem is that its harder to get over-ear products that aren't huge headphones these days. I have been trying to find some of the "sport" style that hook over your ears and have a soft pad that fits over your ear rather than going in it but it seems like that style has gone out of fashion and there aren't really wireless options readily available :/

I am not exclusive to airpods. But I absolutely love the concept and they work well with my ears. I really do not like in-ear buds from any brand. At the moment I am running Huawei FreeBuds 4. But the 2 sets I had broke too soon compared to my Gen1 Airpods. I also have 1st and 2nd gen Galaxy Buds Pro and those I only use for the shower and when I go supping. But I dislike them after about 30 minutes. Hopefully the Airpod Gen 3 will be a more durable choice compared to the Freebuds. I am really looking forward to your long term review

Hello, I have the Airpods 2 and I just recently ordered Airpods 3. I’m a bit scared that it won’t be the same fit as my Airpods 2. My experience with the Airpods 2 that it was really snug fit, and same as he said I sometimes can’t feel that I still have my Airpods 2’s on. In short, the Airpods 2 were perfectly fit for me. Does it feel the same way as the 2nd Gen’s? (Anyone can answer)

At first when I bought the 3rd gen they did fit well in my ear but over time hurt my ear sense they are a bit wider but over time ig I got used to it now I don’t even notice them in my ear definitely a worth it in my book

I have the AirPods 3 and they already fall out twice from my ear while I am walking outside, I mean not both of them only one side , that’s such a bummer 😒🤦🏻‍♀️ I’ve known from other people that the silicone tips aren’t helping so much and they still fall out, so I really don’t know what to do🤷🏻‍♀️

I just got the 3 as well and I love them so far but my thing is keeping the mesh clean cause that buildup effects the sound quality cause that’s what my issue with the original was 🥺

Got an iphone and a galaxy tab too. Been torn between pro and 3s too, because i’m not a fan of silicone tips. The air sucking just hurts my ears that’s why i still use the cord apple earphones. However, i really need an earphone/pod for my tablet. I ended up buying the beats pro buds. It works perfectly with my iphone and with the galaxy tab because it is also compatible with android.

A perfect airpod 3 would of been a pair just slightly larger than the airpods 1&2. I still like the airpods 3...waiting for the smaller airpods 3.5 lol.
