Just a couple of points: • Nothing wrong with loving the KJV in and of itself. • That being said, there’re some warning signs that that love might be becoming idolatrous, such as when it’s based on a spurious claim to greater perspicuity, or when it’s claimed that other translations are false. #justsaying
Currently reading "The Heart of Anger" by Lou Priolo. Amazing book it's definitely a multiple read book and easy to practically apply these verses and more. I highly recommend it folks! Worth every penny.
"Be patient, & stand firm because the Lord's coming is near" (James 5:8). "By standing firm you will gain life" Luke 21:19)! Only those in JESUS will be saved!
When we try not to sin, a day passes, weeks pass, and another kind of anger builds in. A just anger, that makes us hate sin, hate the sin in others, but able to process it, not be of the world but in it, and calmly, like you would treat a child that is lying or doing something bad. That anger is not paternalizing, comes from a fair place, and when you are able to not sin, and say the right thing at the right time, is God speaking through you. That is born from anger, of sin, and not slouch in luke-warmness. It is hard, harder as anything else in life, but I've felt it. Godbless.
No sir, I disagree with you, God can never sin, His eyes are too holy to behold iniquity - Habakkuk 1:13, God is light and there is no trace of darkness in Him - 1 John 1:5
@@illbehonest Unless I'm mistaken, these are his words "So here's the question, what's God like? So we ask the question can God sin? Of course... " 14:17 - 14:25
@@mrmikepreacher Ah, I see how there is confusion here, and I should have edited that out so Tim is not misunderstood. Tim's point of saying, "of course" was that of course we know the answer, and that is that God cannot sin. He goes on right in that context to say his conclusion of those two questions, "Is it possible to have anger WITHOUT SIN?" Meaning, God cannot sin, and yet how can God have anger? That was the question those two questions were leading to. I hope that gives clarity - thanks for pointing that out.
I have a question I know that sex between a husband and wife is a gift that God gave us my question is if you just had a miscarriage is it wrong to have sexual intercourse with your husband before the recommended time?
Then we lose nothing at all, we end up in the dust like everyone else. But if we're right and we are because Jesus is right, we gain everything, even more than this earth can offer and they lose everything for eternity.
Disciple AJ thanks. Thing is I had a family member that was basically murdered. He killed himself, but it was due to medicine the makers have been sued over. Their medicine makes people suicidal and they were sued over this. I’m already a very vengeful guy, moreso than probably 75% of all humans, and that’s already a sin. How am I supposed to not feel vengeance towards someone who killed my dad? Edit: also fitting because he talks about anger
@@newthing7362 My condolences on your loss. (Is this why you’re questioning? If so, knowing this, this isn’t exactly the time for apologetics in my estimation (or perhaps I have more to learn, but still) ― know that God sees it and knows. Maybe go through (read / pray) one Psalm per day and see how God deals with evil, among other things. And Isaiah is good, too. I wish I could link to a song I’ve written, but it’s not recorded yet, nor is it even in English (and I’d like for it to be vetted before I proceed). But the first verse can be translated thus: God is here with you in the deepest night, beside you, more present than you’d expected; He who sees all things, in whose hand is all power, is here with you and has not forsaken you. Prayed for you. May the Lord, the God of comfort, draw you to Him.)
Seraphine Holethysia worse than that. I not only questioned, but also thought belief in God was a delusional thing I had to cure myself of. Thanks for caring about my horrible situation. At least I know God won’t let the man who sold that medicine get away with this.
@@newthing7362 Thanks for telling me. Apologetics *would* be part of the solution in that case… I’d be asking you according to what standard that could even be true.
@@Seraholethysie the anger in animals can be seen as shallow earthly anger but biblically it comes from the folks, we have three types of anger, one from Satan that is unreasonable and a conspiracy, one from God, the wrath of God, and one fleshly anger such as I'm angry at God since I am suffering as a human creature...
