I had knee surgery almost 6 months ago, tore my meniscus, never knew it was that easy to tear. Physical therapy is very helpful after surgery. Hope you feel better!

Adam, your cardio is good with your activities. I know you enjoy your food, and I love seeing your shares and reviews. I do enjoy eating and was just handed sad news from my doctor yesterday that my A1C was high. Six months ago it was normal. Now she wants me watch my sugar and carbs more closely. My weight has been stable. Just another speed bump on the highway of life. Moderation is key ! Take care, we’ll be watching.
I am so glad you got an early handle on that and you have the right attitude! I have to limit my sugar recently too. It is a tough road, but we can do it!!
@captainscentsible3938 ,That’s so correct. I was just diagnosed from my recent A1C test that I was diabetic. 6 months prior I was good. Now that I’m on medication and finger sticking every day, I‘ve been really watching and reading what I’ve been eating. I actually feel worse. I just turned 68 and feel like I’ve been deprived the joy I of eating, I so much enjoy. You only go around on this crazy merry-go-round once, so enjoy the ride !
Adam I’m a big fan and love your content. Just wanted to say in regards to your health journey, everyone will give your tips as what has worked for them but as someone who has struggled with her weight her whole life the best advice is sustainability. Find something that works for you and something you can be consistent with. I’m cheering you on from the comment section!! I hope you read this!

I think you get a lot of exercise already with all of your walking. I lost 115 pounds with only changes to my diet. I really believe if you can devise a consistent eating plan, you will be on your way to lose whatever amount of weight that you want to. I’ve lost 62 pounds on eating a baked potato for lunch each day. Plus exercises and eating good. No sugar sodas. Just a little cream in my piping hot caffeinated beverage. You can do it Adam.
I dropped soda and fast food. And that alone has been dropping the pounds off like I've never witnessed. I've now got into ice skating, as I'm a hockey fan, and that's boosting it even more.
I saw an article about Orange World the day after. There was a photo of firefighters out front and no mention of any injuries. Glad that no one was hurt and the damage is repairable. It still looks good from the outside.
Glad the Orange will be ok. I always enjoyed seeing it whenever I come to Florida. I have to get back on track myself both eating and exercising wise. After 2 weeks of Covid and another week to regain strength my appetite came back with a vengeance. Oh well at least I made it through. In the 80’s & 90’s when Fla was reached by 2 day drive crammed in a car. Orange world was always a stop to bring oranges & orange candy home. Hope it comes back. When online ordering resumes I will place an order to support wonderful Fla memories! Thanks for the update.

Our family is going to be in the Kissimmee area for spring break this weekend and Orange World was on my list of places to visit. Was so bummed when I heard about the fire when you mentioned it last week. Will probably still drive by and stop for some pictures. Thanks for the continued updates.
My oldest son and wife watched the fire. We were in Orlando that week, and they went out to dinner that direction. Tons of fire trucks and so forth. He said it was quite a sight to see.....a giant orange on fire. I told him "wait til Adam the Woo gets back, he'll find out all about it and share on his channel." And here you are.

What's crazy is I took a deep dive into your channel's history yesterday, and today as I was watching, I said to myself, Adam really looks like he's getting more handsome with age. You definitely look more fit now than you did in the past. I lost 160 pounds last year and I have not had a good start this year. I will allow this to be my motivation to start again. Adam I think it’s very inspirational that you are talking about your journey for health and exercise. It’s great that you get so much walking in so I’m sure you are doing much better with activity than most sedentary people. Some gyms also have memberships where you can use gyms in other cities too so I’m sure you will find a plan that works for you and your active, traveling lifestyle. I completely understand not wanting to sit around and watch TV because being out and about is so much more fun. It’s nice that so many hotels do have gyms now and a lot of restaurants and fast food places are starting to offer some healthier options. It’s very hard to eat healthy at theme parks or at some of the stadiums for major league games so I know it’s difficult in your line of work to eat healthy. The not humid weather in Florida sounds really nice! I was in Port Canaveral for a cruise in September and it was so humid I didn’t even want to use my balcony for the 2 days in port in Florida. The really humid weather is tough. I figured you would be used to the humidity so good to know I’m not the only one who is not a big fan of that weather. Congrats on all your success with your steps so far and best of luck with your new workout plan! Really have to just do what’s best for you because as others have said whenever anyone talks about going on a diet, everyone around them becomes a nutrition expert 😅
Wow, that is an EXCELLENT job by the fire department. They saved the building, which is so much harder these days since so much stuff is made of plastics and other petrolium products.
Your walking near the flora, in the shade, sparks memories of visits to Orlando, Ponte Verde, Sawgrass, Saddlebrook. The scent of scrub brush and palm along with the grasses, the humidity, all solidly etched in the memories of Florida in the winter. Never been in summer. Helicopter noise over the Orange, just as in the movie…..!
it always hard to keep a diet when traveling and hang out with friends who aren't on a diet. I am not a doctor but I recommend to have a set of calories you want a day and stick to that and use the fitness pal app. I have did this from time to time when I get off track on my weight. Hope you didn't take this comment the wrong way just want to help because you are a cool dude and I can relate to some of things you go through.
I was just coming here to recommend for Adam to keep a food diary. It's a P.I.T.A to do, but it works. It's amazing how much better I eat when I have to put my food intake in writing.
That actually is great advice for while traveling. There are some apps for iPhone that make it easy to track your daily calorie intake and a lot of the apps have fast food options or theme park options now.
When you apply yourself, you drop lbs fast! I definitely medicate with food, especially after cutting out drinking 2.5 years ago. It's hard because you need food to live, no other "vice" like that. Good luck!

My wife and I was literally across the street from Orange World yesterday. The resort we stayed at was on Marker 11. Didnt realize that it had burned. We have visited Orange World many times. Sad that it was damaged.
Hate to see an iconic location like Orange World suffer through a fire. Glad to hear they are going to reopen. It's amazing that the top didn't melt. I fully expected the back half to be completely gone since plastic tarp-like materials warp and melt so easily. Hopefully the insurance payment will come quickly and they can reopen in time for the summer tourist season.
You get plenty of exercise, it seems, Adam. Plus, you'll be adding more. You'll get it sorted out. You've done it before... That's going to be interesting to see what becomes of Orange World... hopefully... a cool video🤗👏👏🤠

The terminal top parking is the place to go! I always go up to the 10th floor and you can park right by the elevator that takes you right down by the food court.
Many happy memories of shopping at Orange World. We'd drive from Brevard County.. through Kissimmee to MK and Epcot. We loved playing tourist when we lived down there. 😊
Hey Adam, remember as men of a certain age (I'm 55, BTW) our metabolisms slow down and muscle growth takes longer so keep in mind we generally have to work twice as hard and get 50% the results. We have to remember that we can't eat like we used to when we were in our 20s and 30s. I'd recommend not doing anymore food tastings or at least not eating the entire meal all at once, lol. We can still enjoy the food we love but just need to enjoy only 1/2 the portion. :-) Otherwise, over 13k steps per day is good! In actuality, we only need 7500 per day to get the max benefits, anything more isn't really necessary. And as I have mentioned in the past, get your annual checkup and blood tests. Now is the time to keep tabs on your blood pressure, lipid panels (cholesterol/triglycerides) and liver function tests at least twice a year. Those are silent killers that have no symptoms until it's too late.
I imagine Orange World will rent portable storage boxes to put their inventory into and have ServPro or ServiceMaster or someone clean and gut out the damage and rebuild and repaint it and remove the odor. Perhaps in the meantime, Orange World can rent giant outdoor canopy tents with folding tables and 24-hour security to have a special outdoor fire sale or tent sale in the parking lot to keep business going.
When you visit Busch Stadium in St. Louis just remember that there are cool places to visit and vlog at on both the Missouri and Illinois sides of the St. Louis area. A lot of people make the mistake of thinking that there isn’t anything on the Illinois side worth visiting.
Every time I go to Kissimmee Florida back in my childhood I would think of seeing that big orange. You are so fortunate to travel as much as you do, and I know you live in Florida though just stay away from the food at the Disney theme parks I know this is way easier said than done
That fire happening is so sad. There is a lot of inventory in that store that will have to be thrown out. I wish them good luck getting it all cleaned up and ready for opening again. It truley is an iconic store.

Funny you mention treadmill and programmes; I started watching you on your trip away before last thinking great to exercise along to as really find it hard to get on there - you broke me with the 45-50min vlogs lol, back to watching you sat down - you go for it, maybe it'll get me exercising again. Could do with you as a guide when we are next visiting, feel we miss seeing so much out there, but walking is great, only time my steps are up.
I had to give up any sweetened drinks flavored coffees is the devil. Then I realized any dairy makes my feet and legs swell ( cankles lol ) and so now I'm eat'n things in a lettuce wrap trying to give up most bread. I miss Florida, use to travel there a lot as a kid with my parents and would stop at Orange World everytime. I don't have ability to travel much anymore, but would love to go back there someday.
I used an app called Lose It. It helps in tracking your calories as well as nutrients intake and it will connect with the other health apps like your phone that tracks steps to remove calories. I also went 75% veggies. I tried to eat every color of the rainbow a day in veggies. Not many true blue veggies. I counted blueberries even if it was a fruit. Calories is the key to dropping weight.
I wish I could travel like you can. 😢 Maybe you could come to Kansas one day. I live in Wichita, which has the nickname of the "air capital", mostly because of all the aircraft manufacturing plants. We do have several museums, many good places to eat....and the filming location for one scene in Mars Attacks.
Adam keep up the good work... To help you with your weight loss, you can get 70% of the way there with just two words...*portion control*. I know you do a lot of food reviews but one item at a time... When I see you getting three hot dogs... Gee, no Wonder. Keep up the good work my friend.
One meal a day intermittent fasting makes a huge difference, even without a diet change, but even better if you cut carbs. Keto is roughly 70% fat, 25% protein, 5% carbs. Strength training will get you faster results than cardio.
