Avène is the first competitor of LRP in France. They both are at the same level and are marketed towards the same customers, sold in pharmacies mostly. In terms of price, they are more or less within the same range too in France but you are right to notice that their price differs when sold abroad. When purchased in the UK or Ireland for ex. Avène is always pricier for some reasons.

I'm from Poland and I noticed that these French brands are much more expensive in the US than in Europe. Avene oil is like twice cheaper here. Their prices are quite similar to LRP as well.

Toner pads are great for when you’re on trips and going through TSA. TSA doesn’t count sheet masks and toner pads don’t count as liquid. They are considered a wipe, like baby wipes.

Also, I do have to say that the HaruHaru sensitive skin toner did actually bother my skin a little bit (like stinging from the preservative complex I think) and I had some foaming up of the product which I did not love. So I gave it away. Right now loving the Equal RXN B5 Toning cocktail as my watery toner!

I didn’t really like the Laneige cream skin it’s kinda sticky with my other stuff love the Peach and Lily copper peptides and glycolic acid lotion and the new ceramide barrier moisturizer is nice!!! HaruHaru wonder oil cleanser is great first one I’ve tried love the sunscreen of course …. I think I like RNW better than Peach and Lily bc of the ceramides you should do a this or that with these 2 🤣🤣🤣 they got so many excellent ingredients

My recent empties include Torriden Solid in Moisturizer, Stratia Rewind, Cosrx Pure Fit Cica toner, and just yesterday The Klog Snail mucin Energy Essence. The latter was probably the best value for the money: a huge bottle for under 15 bucks, lasted me over 4 months! I initially was not very impressed with Rewind but changed my mind toward the end of the vial. I don't know how much anti aging i got out of it, but I found Rewind to be a good supporting player. Nothing wrong with that! Love you Kelly, keep up this work ❤❤❤

My favorite hydrating serum is the DRMTLGY 10X Hydration and the Peptide night moisturizer I use in the daytime lol winning combo!!!! Especially right now plus my HaruHaru wonder sunscreen I’m set 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍 I finally finished the RNW Essence ( I’ve had since June and used every night) I been using it on my arms too I feel like it’s lightening my freckles gonna try the shining one next

I feel the same about the innisfree pimple patches, they are outrageously expensive and never worked for me! The adhesive is so horrible that it barely sticks on my skin for more than 30mins😅

I got the new reformulated Laniege toner and honestly, other than the crappy packaging it feels the exact same to me. I poured it all into a mist bottle, as I use it as a hydrating mist throughout the day rather than in my toner step. May and May seem to have a lot of interesting wash off and clay masks, just wondering if you tried those yet? I have not seen anyone talk about them, I too like clay masks that are not drying

Thanks for the video Kelly! Any suggestions on how to use up skincare products? I got excited about a lot of products and have built up a big collection that still is to be used. I’ve tried to simplify my skincare routine so I don’t want to open up a bunch of things at once. But some products are coming up to their expiry date. Love any advice on how to integrate products and use them up without putting my skin at risk by using too many things at once. Thanks!

Are the products already opened or unopened? Using face products on your body or in unconventional ways is usually an easy way to quickly empty skincare that's about to expire... For example: -use hydrating/soothing masks when you take a shower to save on time and go through them quicker -use toners, essences, moisturizers and spfs on your body as well -exfoliating cleanser and toner for back/chest acne or to prevent ingrown hair -mini skincare routine for your hands while you relax/watch tv (hydrating toner, hyaluronic acid serum, occlusive moisturizer, oil) -oils for hands, nails, cuticles and hair -retinol serum for stretch marks and body scars

Hi Kelly truthfully Avene and LRP are around the same price here in the UK, so a 400ml of cleanser is around £20 ish and most certainly not 50$😮. It’s also often on sale for up to 33%off and I very rarely pay full price for it. For me they’re somewhat interchangeable tbh. Onto recent empties: Kate Somerville Delikate cleanser- I really like this cleanser but it’s pricey at full price. I buy it on offer and this is the second one I have used up entirely. I have a back up and I am extremely picky about cleanser with my super dry, rosacea and eczema prone skin 😂 Ti’am vita B5 toner- a solid affordable toner that’s very hydrating. I have used this item on and off for a few years Round Lab dokdo toner- I liked this one as a watery first step toner Kate Somerville Delikate moisturiser- a Winter daytime favourite moisturiser, but I just wish it was less expensive. Again I only buy it on offer but I do love it. Avene mineral water mist - refreshing on sensitive skin and I buy it on offer Best wishes x

Hi, Kelly, love the rundown as usual. I don't know if you use Naturium products, but I'd be curious to get your thoughts on how their new Multi-Peptide Advanced Serum stacks up to some of these others you've tried. It's got copper peps, among many other things. I made the mistake of buying that HaruHaru toner in the scented version and HATED how cloying it was, so now I can't every see myself going back to try the unscented version, unfortunately.

What percentage of copperpeptides is in the Ordinary's serum? I have been trying to find out, but the only info I get is the "1% Peptide- Complex". No idea about the amount of copper peptide. Where can one find that info?

The Multi Peptide + Copper Peptide 1% Serum contains 1% of copper peptide. I'm not sure where you're seeing the phrasing "Complex" it's not on the Deciem product listing. theordinary.com/en-us/multi-peptide-copper-peptides-1-serum-100625.html

I think it’s fair to say it’s a trend. It might be a forever commitment for some, but many ppl dip in and out of that kind of thing as an important factor.

It is though. Several times through history veganism or versions of it/things close to it have become a trend, for varying reasons. A trend generally is marked by change and development in a certain direction, and as veganism becomes more popular, catering to it and developing and changing things to suit it becomes more prevalent. Through history veganism or things adjacent to it have become trends because of religious practices which limits consumption of animal products.
