Hello! I have a pair of wild mourning doves nesting on my balcony. They won’t let me hold them or get close to them, but there are mites EVERYWHERE - on my plants, on the floor, etc., I would never hurt the doves and I don’t want to make them leave, so is there any way to get rid of the mites without harming the doves or needing to hold them?? What would you recommend?
Sounds strange that they are coming off the birds like that you can always spray around the area with fly spray kill them off, and if you wanted to also get bird mite spray for the birds.
Good day! I've been following your videos and quite like them. Very simple and informative. How often do i have to spray that lice medications and also do i have to manually wash the pigeons or they can bathe themselves with the bowl of water that i provide. which is better. Thanks
It comes in a sachet and you mix it with water. Cost around $11. You will be able to spray all your birds and the loft. Great to do this before the warm weather kicks in.
Hi super pigeons an you all so good example I am in India my home all so pigeons homer raceing pigeons your loft how much length an hight toll me I am all so same dissan
Birds Addiction girl you do get around you were in Romania yesterday now today your in Australia how do you afford all that traveling you must have a real good job lol 😆
@@hanhan6638 oh. Well I treated him. With diatomaceous earth. People say it’s not good for deworming. But it did kill the lice/mites. I flight trained him like people do with parrots. And would take him outside. He would fly down to my arm when he’s ready to come inside. He makes a great pet! Sadly I let him out . But when I went to check for him he was gone. I had seen a hawk in the area after that. So I think he was eaten. Pigeons are a lot smarter then people let on lol. I would definitely be happy to get more someday. And have homing pigeons like a neighbor of mine does
