To ring in the springtime, we've uploaded another Duo Session from the MLT Club archives to our official RU-vid channel!
"Good Day Sunshine" by the Beatles, a song that fits perfectly with the great weather we've had here in the UK this past week. We don't know what it's like where you live but we couldn't be more excited about finally seeing some plants starting to bloom and feeling some sunrays on our skin. Everything is coming alive again and it's beautiful ♥

Yes, Music has a Positivity Effect...,While my own late Mom could no longer sing words due to post surgery brain stroke, she could still hum, and babble on in her post stroke gibberish, whenever she heard Music on tv, radio or lice in the longterm hospital she was in whenever they brought in folks to play live music...Music Is Powerful Therapy 🤘

Blessings to you. My 92 year old Dad, also with dementia, often doubts he is home. MLT playing in the kitchen nearly always helps him "reset" and realize he is home and safe.

@@coniccinoc I'm pretty sure the Beatles would be fine with it. Music is a living form. Tons of classics have their lyrics changed, sometimes even by the original artist (Elton John's Candle in the Wind, for instance). There are always all sorts of tiny changes- rhythms, chords, flourishes... that get changed. It's weird to fixate on a gender pronoun changing or staying the same.

This is a fabulous example of what a good song is: take the song, play it naked with just two guitars and some beautiful harmonizing, without all the studio production and recording tricks and check if it passes the test and still sounds great

I was 16 years old when " revolver" was released. At that time i had no idea these guys would become the biggest act in music history. The whole decade of the 60,s was non stop exelent music. Wel done ladies !

@@timothyjones3410 they were big at that time. No question. But there were other great bands too. The amount of great music that evolved in the 60,s was unbelievable. Looking back in 1966 the Beatles were half way their career. This was before sgt.pepper, yellow submarine, magical mistery tour, white album, let it be and abbey road. In 1966 we had no idea what was comming. Today they are the only band in the world that almost everybody knows the names of each member even 53 years after they broke up and the deaths of 2 of them.

I remember seeing Paul McCartney, and he said that a few days before the show, NASA used this song as the wake up music for the shuttle astronauts, and he was visibly moved. Thank you ladies for bringing back a great concert memory 💜.

Great job young ladies. I have loved the Revolver album by the Beatles since I first heard it as a school boy in the 60's. I'm also very much in love with the covers you do by them as well as other artists of that decade. You girls do a fantastic job with these covers but I also love your originals as well. Keep doing what you are already doing so well. I haven't heard "Good Day Sunshine" in several years but it sounded mighty fresh with your performance. Thank You.

I love Beatles and Good Day Sunshine always makes me feel so good. Anybody that loves The Beatles has to love The Mona Lisa Twins.
