As a “younger” Beatles fan I’m really happy there are tribute bands because when I first discovered the Beatles I cried because I can’t go to their concerts.
@@garypring7351 FYI - Some trivia you may like. In the United States, there are only three English Benedictine monasteries. Portsmith Abbey (Portsmith, RHode Island), The Abbey of St. Mary and St. Louis aka St. Louis Abbey (Creve Couer, MO) and St. Anselm's Abbey (Washonton, DC). As an EBM of St. Anselm's (Mother house is Belmont Abbey, Herefordshire, England), you would think I had known that. Thank you for pointing it out to me. I do appreciate Scouse' humour.
The guy that's impersonating Harrison resembles George so much that it's scary ! This one looks like him - acts like him - talks like him - sings like him - plays like him - and is wearing his clothes. He must have studied every move of George Harrison ! Really good job !
He did gigs in Liverpool as George. Not sure if he is exclusively with the FAB FOUR tribute band or not. Met him several times; he is such a cool guy. I have a hard time understanding all of the folks out there who have to knock these guys. All they are trying to do is give us all a little back of a time that will never happen again. Do they look exactly like the Beatles, NO. Do they sound exactly like the Beatles, NO. But do they try real hard to give an honest representation of something we all miss, YES. And they do it well. Most reviews are positive. A few trolls out there just have to draw attention to themselves; where's their performances? Thank you for being a positive person. What it all comes down to is an appreciation for the music and love for the BEATLES.
A LOT of Beatles songs sound simple but aren't. Musicians who have tried to dissect them and play them will know what I'm talking about. Those guys were on another level.
Lydia Meidl Thanks for the tip... I just looked him up & he's fantastic! I saw a good show on TV the other night called "The Beatles: Breaking The Band." The actors didn't look much like them, but it was interesting. It's going to be on again tomorrow at 8pm EST on the REELZ network.
I honestly thought this was some footage from a concert in the 70s and got really confused when the video quality was so high. It legit felt like George was alive in 2020 for a wonderful second.
I saw them in Branson Mo. Louise Harrison George's sister was there and she let me come up on stage and give her a big hug. I saw Ringos all star band twice, that's a show you don't wanna miss. ❤❤❤ The Beatles Thanx Fab Four great show. 😊
@@johnbriancatedrilla4028 Yeah ive read more into it now. His names Gavin Pring. Hes a legend! Paul mcartney once told him he looks a bit like george an his response was "and you look a bit like paul" which to me is the kind of tongue in cheek humour the beatles were known for!
Funny stuff and Id love you all to see my George impression and see how many George song titles you can pick up on. See my latest up load on here on my chnl. Over n out. November 2022
I've seen them perform live. They are by FAR the best tribute band you'll ever see. They don't just play the songs. They add a lot of bells and whistles. An Ed Sullivan character introduces them, and pops back in to say a few words every now and then. The Paul character does a pitch perfect rendition of Yesterday in front of a big screen video of real Paul performing it too. Every blink of the eye and nod of the head is replicated perfectly. Lots of costume changes and a full career progression from All My Lovin' through the rooftop concert. I can't recommend them highly enough.
Absolutely! You said it so well. My video doesn't do them the justice they actually deserve - you have to see them LIVE to fully appreciate the effort and art that they put into their shows. You nailed it sir.
Had to come back and listen and watch again, best tribute band I have ever seen or heard. The best compliment I could give would be I would pay my hard earned money to see these gentlemen, well done !
WOW! I didn't know this was a tribute band at first. This guy looks more like George than any Elvis impersonator ever resembled Elvis. Sounded like him too.
As a big Beatles fan who has no way of ever seeing them live, this is fantastic. Regardless of who looks like or sounds like what, isn't it all about entertainment? These guys entertain, enough said.
I saw the REAL Beatles twice in Belfast. I bought every record the day it was released and still have them. Amazing to watch and hear them develop. Thanks for posting.
@@Voxac100b You couldn’t hear the music and it didn’t matter. It would filter down which song they were singing. It was all about being there. The screaming was deafening.
Ringo has perfect timing, and has been consistently under-rated --- usually because some headbanger thinks that the more drum 'notes' that can be crammed-in constantly, and the 'faster' sounding they are played, somehow equates to better work (especially for a vocal band).
He's not talking about his ability as a drummer. He's talking about his ability as a songwriter. Ringo was undoubtedly the weakest songwriter in The Beatles. However, given the incredible talents of the others in that area, that's not saying much.
Ringo's 'perfect timing' was (according to THE MAN HIMSELF) due to the fact that he was left-handed and playing on right-handed drum-kits, so he was always a little too late and got some sort of 'after-beat'. The main factor was coincidence, rather than genius.
Thanks for your description of a scene in the video everyone viewing this comment section have already seen or will see. Or is this one of those "image description" things for the visually impaired?
Gavin really has made George come back to life - his spirit and mannerisms - a Liverpool native only could do that. If you want to see George live - see Gavin - I worked with George once - this him all over again. This is the best rendition of any Beatles song I've ever heard - Here comes the sun.
shawn bopko and the rest of the band don’t look good, Paul is fine I guess and I’ve seen videos where someone else plays John and they looked fine but I guess they could never ringo down.
Great "Live" version! What an absolute joy to watch! My eyes welled up with tears and came streaming down my face thinking about the Autumn of '69 when I bought my copy of Abbey Road. I was so blessed to have been born in 1957.
Obviously you did not witness the Beatles firsthand.........that guy does not even look slightly like George.....But the mind will convince us of anything we want to believe...
Damn .....its like The Beatles got into a time machine to come to our times and show what it is like to be The Beatles and to see the Beatles on stage !
I give these boys a lot of credit. It's not exactly an easy task to imitate the greatest band in history. They do a fine job, and if you squint a little you can imagine it's the real thing. That's all you can ask for. Well done.
Remember when this be song came out on the radio in the Spring and walking in the Sunshine after a long winter in Minneapolis MN and having this song in my head and the great feeling it gave me as a 15 year old teen
I saw these guys in Lancaster, California a couple of years ago. Absolutely incredible! A funny thing--I'm a Beatles fan and was born and raised in Liverpool, , , ,:)
Perfect! ... and when "George" began to sing the song "While My Guitar Gently Weeps", it gave me an overwhelming desire to cry ... George himself seemed to be singing. And in the end all you need is Love ... ❤❤❤❤
These guys are awesome!!! I saw them live in Vegas 10 years ago and I'm thrilled to see they're still at it because they really do my favorite band ever much justice!!!!
I'm 65 years old and never really cared for the Beatles. About five years ago I seen these guys on RU-vid and it was like I had discovered a whole new band. I can honestly say the Fab Four are the best of the two groups.
Imagine a Beatles tour in the 80s if John is still alive. All the Beatles songs and the solo songs.5 hour concert packed with classic after classic after classic.
The Beatles...the BEST band on the planet!!!🌎 The Fab Four...the BEST tribute band on the planet!!!🌎 We miss you George and John.🌅 We love you❤ Rock them in heaven🎸 Peace and Love✌💝
I saw these guys in Vegas and in the way of things was able to go back stage and meet the guys. You would not believe how much they are not anything like the Beatles off stage but on stage their recreation is uncanny. My hats off to you guys.
Got to see The Fab Four in Detroit at the Motor City Casino. Absolutely the Best Beatles tribute band out there!! The do songs from early Beatles to the last. It's just like the record and they are playing it all. Peace, Love, Courage from David in Detroit.
I've seen the Fab Four 3 times, and am still wanting more. Very authentic cover of Beatles songs, and it doesn't stop there. Everything from the looks, costumes, gestures, and even the instruments mimic the Beatles.
My wife and I saw The Fab Four, backed by our local symphony orchestra, 2-3 years ago, and had seats right near the stage . The illusion of actually watching The Beatles perform holds up pretty well.
Can you imagine having a job where you have to perform and sound like the Beatles...much less every night? And you do it with flying colors! Wow! Takes a lot of talent in their own right as musicians. If Paul McCartney saw these guys he would definitely be wowed!
Perfectly rendered all the way up! All in place fantastic match with original version. Gives me goose bumps and same amazing happy feeling I've experienced when I heard this song for the first time. Deep inside feeling of a sadness that George and John are gone.
Great Job,, these guys are great,There will never be another group like the Beatles, their music is timeless, It would’ve been great to see them going into the 21st-century like the Stones.... they were a magical group.......
We saw these guys live several years ago - more than once, in fact - and they were *great!* Don't listen to the nitpickers, because you won't find a better tribute band anywhere!
Georges son was attending college in Providence Rhode Island. I stopped into a small coffee shop there. On my way to the counter I looked to the corner and George was sitting there. He was with another person. I wanted to go over and shake his hand and thank him for his music. But I respected his privacy. On the way out our eyes locked I nodded and he returned with a smile. It was very sad that George suffered so much in his final years.Being stabbed in his home by a madman. To his long battle with cancer. Love you Mr.Harrison RIP.
When that was a hit on AM radio I was a high school kid getting drunk on 3.2 beer and cutting school. we drove to a nearby town and that song came on the radio and then we got out and played in the snow. Now i'm an old man. and that song is still popular. weird.
I saw The Beatles in 1966 @ Balboa Stadium in San Diego when I was 17... incredible, my first live concert!! Like 20 #1 hits in 45 minutes... unforgettable Beatlemania on full display! But I have also seen The Fab Four now 5 or 6 times & I would recommend them to anyone who loves the music of the Beatles... they are seasoned pros, many years together now & they cover all phases of the band's amazing evolution with several costume changes, finishing up by performing many songs that The Beatles never performed live. Great spirit, energy & an obvious love of the original fab four & their timeless craftsmanship.
WOW just wow!! This is the best George Harrison look alike/sound alike that I’ve ever had the pleasure of watching. Fantastic cover of this song! Amazing. 🙌❤️❤️
If ever they play near you...run don't walk for tickets. By far the BEST Beatles tribute band Hands down..I've seen them countless times..no lip syncing..no backing tapes ..no autotune..live..live ..live.. all Americans except George who is from England..all have wigs and fake accents Capt for George's accent is real...an Amazing show.
Yes they did change the world... all for the better. They gave us hope. They showed us anything was possible. They gave us the freedom to imagine... songs of love!
They came to America to help us heal from a recent tragedy on Nov 22, 1963. They brought joy to our faces. We could begin to be happy again. They were a blessing.
These guys came to my hometown in Englewood NJ and were absolutely great! Very gracious. Allowed everyone to take pictures with them. They do a funny beautiful show. Thanks for posting!
