Another good gift for MTB's who film everything is some GoPro a few that they don't have and a great one are the sticky flat mounts. You can never have enough!

multi-tools are convenient in that they can get u out of almost any jam in almost any situation. the Serfas st-17i co2 inflator is a great option at 115grams has spoke wrench, chain tool, torx driver, allen keys, flat and phillips head driver, and a CO2 inflator. A small profile makes it very portable. $45 most sites, there is a st-13 for $35 that most bike shops will carry.

Specialized makes awesome floor pumps from 50 to 60 dollars. They also come with a lifetime warranty! We use them in the shop I work at, I would recommend them to anyone.

I am a moutain biker and I have most things I need to maintain a bike but more is always better. If you have a low budget, dont try to get the person multiple things,get them something quality that they most likely would not put out the money to get for themselves. I suggest some goggles, in the winter season mt bike goggles will help a lot and whoever they are for most likely only uses glasses.

That trail ridden was at Markham, my neck of the woods.

Give them a nice flashlight. Convoy ones make an amazing bike light and they cost all under $20 for insanely powerful light

I suggest a nice pair of riding gloves, I know tons of MTB riders who don't even wear gloves and are always cutting up their hands when they crash. not many people realize how something so simple can help out so much, adding grip, protecting your hands etc etc.

Apart from tools, cycling apparel never goes out of the list. This is also something someone can never have too much of. Be aware though of what the rider prefers, 3 pocket jersey or simply a sweat wicking loose shirt.

i don't know about the tubeless kit....i converted mine to tubeless and it was great for a while,but then i started getting ireparable punctures....one time i had to walk like 5 km home...it would work great with tubeless specific tires,but with standard thin walled ones hell no...
