when i first saw the magicmush video, my head immediately went back to deviantshart lmao it's sad rewatching deviantshart now, i understand that the dude has moved on to making reviews and such but... yeah, it's pretty obvious the dA ranting community was nothing but just nonsensical bullying all around. i'm glad i got out of that phase.
As much of weird guy Justin is, that’s just it.He’s just some weird guy on the internet with a weird fetish well. He really hasn’t done anything illegal at least not yet.
The more I hear about the DeviantArt Ranting Community the glader I am that I was too young and didn´t speak good enough english at the Time. That Sound Quality from the second Example made my Ears bleed
I am ashamed I was even ever part of this. But my honest take on it is it depends if your target is really deserving or if you're just making things up and slandering someone just to meet your weekly video quota. There's no issue in dealing with bad actors, but all too often one slips down the slippery slope into just trash talking people in general for more content (because there's only a very finite supply of actually really bad people): this is the story of everyone who's ever entered the DeviantART and RU-vid rant scenes.
Relatable. Honestly being part of the rant community did more harm than good. There are some deserving topics, but half the time people just went after those that, while weird, probably didn’t deserve much. Not my proudest days back then.
@@Channeleven2345789 It's gotten far worse in the post-Leafy era where it's basically just devolved down to throwing PDF file accusations at the person of the week. Also a lot of these ranters turn out to be horrible people themselves (like with the Hopeless Peaches incident).
Again, it’s ironic that Leo’s obsessed with Wee Sing, a series targeted towards litte kids while he calls out a user for being a fan of cartoons like Tuff Puppy.
