I feel like these videos are best watched in a dark room at odd hours in the morning. There's something oddly peaceful abut just going through a bunch of these videos. Thanks for the great content
My wife walked in on me watching this with a confused/concerned look. I had to explain who Jack was and showed her a few of his videos. Now my wife is a Jack fan. Mission accomplished 😁👍
Ok, I'd like to write down my interpretation of this video 'cause I' ve not seen someone talk about this possibility: This song is about ANXIETY. The first hint is when the brain says it saw something strange, which leads it to overthink and overanalyze it, that's what it's trying to say and that's why the man is chasing it and wants to change it. When you get anxious, you start feeling sick: you get fever, start to shake, etc, and many anxious people think they're sick FOR REAL: "Do you believe my body? I believe". Why is it in a stage? That stage means the man's life, and the people watching him is everyone else. In other words: That performance is an anxiety attack. When people answer to the brain that they don't believe it, it suffers a stroke and we can see it in an island: it represents its feeling of solitude and isolation. Hope you guys like my theory although it's and old video now, lol, but I kind of wanted it to say it.
I really hope that jack extends this one. He makes some really enjoyable songs, regardless if it's 30+ seconds or and extended versions of his short songs.
@@rickydawn6313 deploy, inchman, love will, milk, coffee, good morningn blondie, etc, etc, etc, basically most of Jack's songs that go along with his animations (claymations, 2d/3d animation, etc)
I've really enjoyed watching your claymation work improve over the last year or so. The animation has gotten especially smooth and the models manage to be incredibly detailed without sacrificing your surreal visuals. Keep up the good work!
Good luck chasing your mind Good luck chasing your mind (Thanks! I'll need it) Good luck chasing that mind of yours Good luck on changing your mind (I was trying to say something) In the cold dark I saw something strange Do you believe my body? I believe it Do you believe my body? Jesus Christ and flowers All come to power (Oh please kill me) Do you believe my body? Or believe me? Do you believe my body? No
@@margicates553I also think the people all dressed the same might be part of society or a religion denying that anything bad could happen. They're telling you to chase your mind because of how wild what you said was and good luck changing your mind because to them it doesn't make sense.
Jewel Mine His collarbone fractured along with his right hand, he didn’t really specify what happened but he did say that he was “going too fast”. Perhaps a car or bike accident?
ok so this is a short story, but I think I have it? at least here's a theory: I think this song is about a crime that happened, but the authorities or media is dismissing the crime for some reason. "good luck chasing your mind" could be a play on the phrase "you've lost your mind" which could be the media/authorities speaking. "in the cold out there i saw something strange" could be the description of the setting of the crime. or even the victim speaking and telling people about what happened (this accompanied by the imagery of a distorted creature could show how the victim SAW the criminal, but even with this, trauma could have warped their memory, or it's the media twisting the story in some way that makes the criminal look like an actual monster and making the story sound fabricated.) "Do you believe my body I believe it do you believe my body?" could be the victim again, trying to show the evidence of the crime, like cuts, bruises, or DNA evidence, but again being ignored. "Jeuses Crist and flowers have come to power." could signify that the victim FOUND the perpetrator on their own, but the media is trying to put them in a good light, maybe they have connections with the church (connection to Jesus) or maybe they've always seemed so peaceful (connection to flowers) and the media is trying to make the victim seem crazed because HOW could THEY do such a thing? you must be lying! and after this part, you can hear "that thing's filming" (some people hear 'oh please kill me' but idk I don't hear it) and this could signify that the perpetrator recorded, or at least took a great pleasure in the crime, so it wasn't in some retaliation, it was just a crime to commit a crime. when the last "do you believe my body" part comes, everyone in the audience says "no" which could mean that even the audience of the media, agree that the victim is lying, and that could mean that even close family or friends don't believe them. even the setting of a stage means some things, it could actually be a court room, but with how the media sets it up, it seems like an act, like a play on a stage. the victim is lying, they're making themselves cry, it's all an act. the last set of an island where the brain is could represent how the victim seems alienated from humanity. they are so confused that they fall part from the separation.
Profundo, eu não havia ouvido a tradução dá música, e é até difícil de entende já que não é minha linguagem materna. l,m a little bit lazy to write in english now.
You make a great point! Or maybe the victim is maybe making everything up so the person they are accusing is their enemy.and to the authority/media sounds silly because if how they explained it and sounded fake.they might even faked the evidence.or maybe your theory is right.
Katie Wheeler actually this was a video in the vault. He has many videos that he’s never released or are only on his patreon, and this was one of them. He said so on twitter.
I feel like this is about someone whos about to go on stage in front of a lot of people, (maybe they're intimidating business men since theyre all wearing button downs and ties) but gets nervous right before and is trying to calm down as everyone is whispering to each other about how he should've been on stage by then.
0:23 I LOVE this monster design, holy cow. Something about the way the teeth move but the rest of the mouth doesn't, and how the teeth are also just kinda floating activates something in my brain.
Lyrics: Go-o-od luck chasing you mi-i-ind Good luck chasing your mind (Thanks, ill need it!) Good luck chasing that mind of yours Good luck changing your mind (I'm just trying to say something) In the cold of the night I saw something strange Unbelievable and ill believe it unbelievably Demon splints and flowers Come to power (Nothings filming) Do you believe in the morning? Ill believe you Unbelievably (No) Lyrics by Aleximitia
I believe its not 'nothings filming' but 'please kill me' and that the monster and brain in the part before the 'no' are both saying something along the lines of 'do you believe you body? I believe it. Do you believe your body?'
So many videos have since been uploaded, and already been existing uploaded, but I do believe this one is my favorite, and/or will at least always hold a special place in my heart, I love it so much
I'm not sure what this means and I know that he often does what he likes and not something with a deep meaning, but maybe this is a representation/critique of how some psychologists (the crowd watching a play on what looks like a theater) treat trauma (those 2 creepy monsters harassing the brain) on their patients, and I think that the theater is referencing your life being their "entertainment", while you go crazy trying to keep your sanity (chasing your mind), they say "Good luck chasing your mind", or maybe it's not about psychologists and more of how people in general react to your trauma, at least that's my way of thinking it, but what's your interpretation??, I love reading theories about Jack's videos.
I feel like if u watch just one of these videos randomly In a dark room it's best and after I watch one I can't stop watching it's like yeah some of his videos r disturbing in a way but I like that it's because they're so creative and have messages in them and i love how he comes up with stuff like this
Lyrics/words I can kinda make out (not 100% sure this is what he's saying, it just kinda sounds like it) Good luck chasing your mind, good luck chasing your mind! (Thanks i'll need it!) Good luck chasing that mind of yours, good luck chasing your mind (it's trying to say something) In the cold of night I saw something strange, Please believe me body I believe it do you believe me body? Tears, expensive flowers,(I cannot for the life of me understand anything here) Do you believe me body I believe it do you believe me body? NO again, these aren't actual lyrics but stuff I thought I could make out
Jack's art is simply a magic because how the hell it can be so simiular to my condition after sleeping two hours and going to school, it's just amaze me how accurate it is
*Edit: thank you krumblebud* “Good luck chasing your mind good luck chasing your mind _Thanks ill need it_ Good luck chasin that mind of yours Good luck changing your mind *its trying to say something* In the cold of night i saw something strange _Do you believe my mind, do i believe, do you believe my mind?_ Demon splints and flowers Come to power *nothings filming* _Do you believe my body, do i believe, do you believe my body?_ *no* ” If you could help a bit if you see this it would mean alot, im not great at deciphering these and the stuff i said might already be wrong haha Im actually proud of myself that i deciphered almost all of it by myself :)
Krumblebud oh thank you!! Ill integrate that although i like the “something screams”, ill try and listen many times and see what seems to sound best and make the most sense

Ender Minn i think i got the lyrics fairly close so here you go “Good luck chasing your mind good luck chasing your mind _Thanks ill need it_ Good luck chasin that mind of yours Good luck changing your mind *its trying to say something* In the cold of night i saw something strange _Do you believe my mind, do i believe, do you believe my mind?_ Demon splints and flowers Come to power *nothings filming* _Do you believe my mind, do i believe, do you believe my mind?_ *no* ”
Why do I feel like jack just makes these seemingly random yet twisted shorts with no real idea of what it means but leaves his fan base to come up with them
