Like Cooper says, it's rare in modern football to have players of such long service, whilst that is amazing to have had those bonds with those players, it makes it hard when it's time to say good bye. Thanks for your amazing service Luke, you'll forever be a Leeds legend!

I met Bill a few times in Wetherby while he was out with his family, shouted alright Bill and give him the salute, not wanting to invade his privacy while he was with his family, he always came over and had a few words absolute lovely man and I bet the dressing room will seem empty without him 🤍💛💙

Luke Ayling always looked like he was honoured to be on the pitch. He looked happy every time he played. He looked like every football fan would look if they were living the dream. That for me is his main attribute. Aside from how good a footballer he was. Aside from how brave a character he was. Aside from hard he worked and how nice he was. He never seemed to take being a footballer for granted. Something that is hard to find nowadays. MOT / ALAW.

You can see how much he meant to everyone, so sad it’s come to end, but as a few alluded to there, that’s football and it reminds you that the players are just commodities at the end of day. Although his time at Leeds has come to an end, the friendships he’s built there with the other lads and staff will last forever!

Best comments at the end there from Stu Dallas you can see the special bond that they have. 250 caps for Leeds puts him in the all time top 50 of appearances for the club. There are some truely great names in that top 50 and so glad to see that Bill is now a part of that group of legends.

Luke Ayling will most likely still be my favourite right back if I am lucky enough to get to a really old age. This is a sad day, knowing I won't be able to see him play again for us, only on highlight videos. Him, Stu, Pablo, Becchio, Cooper, Bamford, Alioski, Berardi, Jansson, McCormack, Snodgrass, Klich and as a manager-GOD like human being, Marcelo, will always stay with me and will always bring back memories.
