Those nostalgic bus sounds!!! Even when I was in high school and having a really hard time, suffering from depression and dealing with stuff at home, the sound of the bus was always calming. When I left high school, the one thing I missed was the bus, and the whole experience of riding the same predictable route every day, picking up the same people. Been 20 years now since I’ve been on a school bus, but you never forget.
for years my wife suggested I be a school bus driver. I thought you needed a tractor trailer license. I seen this video and it changed my life. Driving for 5 years now and at 55, it is the first job in my life, that I love to do,,,,, thank you.... you only need a cdl class b
I remember when I was in kindergarten in 1983 was the best time riding a school bus. Meeting new friends was the best time ever. Then junior high came in the early 90s and then high school. when ever I see a school bus I think about the best wonderful memories i had riding a school bus
I always feel sorry for any actor who gets the part of "potential child abductor" or some similar role. I'm sure the Creepy Guy Waiting At The Bus Stop from this film went on to play other such dubious characters in his acting career. He'll never be cast as Captain America, that's for sure.
I had a bus driver like this in 1980 in 4th grade almost identical in his methods asking safety questions all the time. That kids answer get up earlier was funny and spot on. I doubt you can find these kind of bus drivers anymore.
THAT'S WHAT A GOOD SCHOOL BUS DRIVER SHOULD BE AND LOOK LIKE IF THAT IS TODAY THE BUS DRIVERS DON'T TAKE THE TIME OR HAVE THE PATIENCE THO OLD DAYS SCHOOL BUS DRIVER
This was when kids were actually scared to be reported bc they knew what they was in for when they got home; these days they want you to report them, give em any reason so they can “call their mama”... times have changed a lot since this video. I enjoyed it tho. Brought back a lil nostalgia
I am a assistant principal at a private high school. I was in public elementary school and I loved riding the bus. I was in private middle and high school, so no bus. But a few years ago I bought a school bus. Just for the fun of remembering my childhood. Sometimes we use it as the team bus for our football team.
All those kids are old millennials and xennials to young and middle aged Gen X’ers ranging today from mid late 30’s to mid late 40’s. What a kind bus driver to have!
11:40 Don't know about anyone else who grew up in this era, but I don't recall that we ever had school bus emergency drills . School fire drills maybe. But school bus drills. In all my years of riding the school bus, not one time.
I used to be a substitute school bus driver mostly drove in the afternoon I was also one of the maintenance workers in the school district and they would come up at 1 o’clock or 2 o’clock and tell me I had to drive an afternoon boys had a good bunch of kids on the bus for the most part and if I didn’t know router and find out who was the last kid get off the bus and get him to show me where the show me where the bus stops were they always wanted to get home as fast as I could so they were real helpful
