The best news I found today is that Sesame Street has added a girl with autism to their permanent line up in order to make children with autism more comfortable and to teach other children about how to play and be friends with children who have autism.

Sofia Loveland that is very cool. i only ask that you say child with autism not "austic child" only because the first says a kid with a mental condition and the second defines the kid by their disorder. I'm not trying to reprimand but trying to educate as i work in the mental health community and people often only live within the boundaries of their disorder instead of seeing themselves as a normal person that happens to have an extra quality.

if you've ever seen finding nemo, think about how his dad doesn't refer to nemo as his disabled son, but instead calls his smaller/damaged fin, nemo's "lucky fin". it showed him that, yes, he is different, but he's also a fish just like everyone else

Sofia Loveland I saw this and was so excited!! My coworkers grandson has non speaking Austism and I wholeheartedly believe that representation in tv and media is important for kids. I'm so exciting that children with autism will see someone like them on tv!

What the footage _didn't_ capture was the part where the 2-year-old twins "borrowed" their parents' Mercedes, knocked over a liquor store, then used the loot to buy $326 of Skittles, juice boxes and McDonald's Happy Meals.

This is the first time I've ever been at a Grace video so quickly and the greatest part is that I have the smallest sliver of a chance that Grace will see this and I can tell her how much she's been such an absolute pillar of comedy for me through the shitstorm that is the journey to med school. Just to brighten your day, the world is not actually getting worse. From crime to poverty and war, things are better than it ever was. Hatred isn't spreading anymore than usual, we just have access to more information. In the past horrible things happened and we never knew about them. Now, we can work to fix them. There are peaks and valleys (this may be a valley) but the trend is always looking up. With the exception of climate change, a pandemic or bees going extinct (which are all solvable) we are on the right track. So relax, try to fix the things you can and let the rest take care of itself.

good news? well, speaking of march madness, my alma mater was in it for the first time ever. lost the first actual bracket game but everyone was so freaking excited there was a whole event with signs and balloons and flowers and the rest of the marching band that hadn't gone with the team. they played the fight song as the busses from the airport pulled up and everyone ran up to meet the team/coaches/cheerleaders/dance team/band and it was honestly just so pure and adorable.

Totally unrelated to this video altogether... I downloaded your style book on audible, I am currently listening to it now, I am feeling many things. I had bulimia a few years ago, and my body is still trying to recover, in the midst of recovering, I have gained all the weight back plus some, I have struggled with weight my whole life, always having a little extra. I am no longer engaging in the harmful activity, but it is a constant struggle, and mental battle. I wanted to thank you for your style book. I was able to get out of my head for awhile, and focus on accepting myself now.
