The Good Taste restaurant is really a great value for the money! I'm thinking they can charge so reasonably is because they source most of their ingredients locally; Baguio fruit & vegies are so inexpensive compared to metro-Manila; stay safe, Marshall!

We were there 6 years ago with a group of 15-18. I think we ordered almost everything on the menu. Food and service was great but the price was even better. Can’t wait to go back. Love my home town. Thank you for sharing.

I remember when I had priests and seminarians vistors from Manila and Italy, I brought them to Good Taste for a lunch. They ordered Rice Toppings and Side dishes. They thought it would just plain rice and separate dish for viands, when their order came, they were surprised that their plate had a complete dish, meat and vegetables in one. So the Side orders came next. They thought that the chit might be too high like in High-end restaurant but they're surprised too that the price of food is cheap and delicious.

Glad you got to try the Good Taste experience, the one you went to is a branch of ghe original, situated behind the Center Mall, same large space but now mostly catering to locals. Glad they suggested the rice topping for you cos ordering other menu items would be a waste since each item is good for 4-6 people. You could order a feast for 10-15 people for 4-5K, which is a terrific value for money. They also serve coffee, highland style, very strong and delicious. Try the steamed tilapia next time, or for a "snack" their very popular siopao. Glad you're enjoying your stay in my hometown

Woah! been excited for your upload recently, The food that you ordered is usually a day to day food for the locals but one thing that they're famous for is their group meals (which is a lot for one person to order 😂) but their buttered chicken is a must try if ever you will go back there again. You must visit session road tomorrow because they have exhibits on local products there every sunday.

My cousin Russell works as a cook for Good Taste in that branch (Otek Street), there's another Good Taste branch at the Dangwa Bus Station near the Centermall. This is where a typical family in Baguio would dine because of its affordability and serving size.

Wow. Looks good and you can't beat the prices. I want to check out that place and the quoted cafe. Hope you get to try some of the famous strawberry short cake because the strawberry farms are in Baguio. Vizco's on session road is where to get the delicious cake.

Been to that restaurant a couple of blocks away from the park. I went there 3 times the 4 days I was in Baguio due to the price and really good food. You should set some time and hit Sagada further up north if you're into hiking and nature., it's probably the most underrated destination in the Philippines.

You've got to try each of their dish haha! Its the ultimate go to if you're feeling lazy and want a delicious but affordable meal for take out after a long day's work. Not to mention the holidays are pretty crazy! If you are into sweet and sour stuff, my fave is their sweet and sour fish fillet. My friend, they have big servings there, best eat there with a group of friends, it adds more to the experience. 💜

While there, you could try the newest tourist areas: Stone Kingdom near Tam a wan, Have lunch at Farmer's Daughter resto and go to the bamboo forest after..Good nice has some nice breakfast items too..

enjoy tagging along in your travel,food ,experience vlogsThat menu"the Good Taste rice" actually has a history or story how it started.It was started by restaurateur Jack Dulnuan and almost highland restaurant serve it these days. I love the menus at Good Taste... they are great too with catering service for big gathering meals.

Welcome back to our city Sir. 🙂 since you enjoyed the mountain view from john hay last time, try to visit mines view park early in the morning then drop by good shepherd convent just around the corner for the best ube jam 😋 other food and resto suggestions: Canto (near burnham park) their lomo ribs are superb! Arca's yard. Food is great,locally inspired ,place is divine. Amare la cucina is also originally from baguio but already have a lot of branches outside. I believe you already went there in one of your vlogs. ( alvin's pizza is my fave) Grumpy Joe ( aloha cheese pizza 🤤) always has a long queu during meal time And many many more hidden gems in here 😁 hope you can explore more this time around.

The price at Good Taste is opposite to the prices in your previous vlog at Chili’s 😄! Hope you’d make it to the flower festival March 6,7 etc…I think they have events for 3 weekends. There is a popular flower farm ‘Northern Blossom’ nearby. Also if you’d consider an adventure there is the hanging coffins in Mt. Province or the Batad Banaue Rice Terraces

That's the place to go when you have a surprise visitors. Good eats and cheap! Caters the A-D class. In the evening, usually you have to que to get a table. Just interested to watch your another exploration in Baguio City, my hometown. Enjoy!

You should try DJ-G, in Upper Engineer's Hill, near Microtel and Victory Liner. It is a small eatery (carenderia) serving local dishes.

Good Taste is a fave for families because they serve big portions and the food is inexpensive. The buttered chicken is also a bestseller so you should try that next time. Their beef broccoli is a personal fave of mine. And their cream puffs are yummy, as well. Stay safe while you go around eating out, Sir Marshall. 😊

I used to eat there almost 3x a week when i was in baguio. I remember eating there with my family. We spent less than 1500pesos. We didnt finish the foods because the serving is too much.😊

Eating there has been part of our annual Baguio Trip for about 9 years now. We normally go up there with a group of 10+ plus kids. We always joke around that "there's this great spot in Baguio" that we should try. I don't know why we even try to scour a lot of spots within the area but end up coming back there. We go there at least 3 times switching between lunch or dinner during our 3 day visits with the last being dedicated for take-aways of their crispy pata and a boxes and slices of blueberry cheesecake and other pastries.

the original branch is at the back of the Baguio Central Mall..yup the best seller the Good Taste rice.. there is another canteen at the back side of Mc Donalds look for Cathys Canteen - the original cathys rice of rice chopsuey chicken or liempo

Good Taste rice goes with the sauce made of calamansi, soy, and chili in THAT saucer; we rarely ask for a bowl or something smaller for the sauce. Re the size of the serving, we Baguio people go for the L - if not the XL Glad you enjoyed it! SPOILING some underrated ones: - A SUGGESTION HERE: I know of a place sorta Cordilleran intertwined with the concept of Pasta and Chicken. It's along Rimando Road: Illengan Cafe. PLUS the coffee our region has pride of. Finish that with a cake :) - AND ALONG SESSION Road: Along Post Office loop, you may find Casa Pizzeria. By that name, I believe you know what to expect. It's a little place but exudes greatness in the midst of the city.

My last 2 trips to Baguio we tried to enter this restaurant, but we couldn't -- because all 3 floors are full ! We know it's good, its just that we couldn't get a table. Ah well, next time we'll try a much earlier time.
