Dear Dr. Lee, You have such a kind heart and your sense of community means so much! So many years ago when we were dairy farming, we had a barn fire. Our neighbors and friends all came to help so we could feed and milk the cows that night. Country folks help each other. I follow your sons channels and am praying for your whole family. We lost my Dad to lung cancer in 1998. It is a tough journey but may God help you day by day. And BTW, Mom and Dad used to listen to the old traditional hymns of Tennessee Ernie Ford. I hope you can find comfort in those beautiful hymns!

The dark side of loving and being loved so dearly, is that loss hurts so much. I like to think that it's still worth it. May God continue to bless you and your family. When times get tough, it may be hard, but you have to remember that you truly have been blessed with a family of wonderful people. When I feel that lump in your throat and hear that crack in your voice, I just wish I could be there to give you a big ole friendly "it's gonna be okay" hug. Praying for Mark brother.

Prayers for Mark and uncle Floyd continuing.. I am still hanging in there with my stage 4 prostrate cancer, for now the meds are keeping my PSA at 0.06, it was 66 in December.. I thank God daily for all he has done for me..

I understand the need for Kindness. I lost my Daddy after 26 years of Heart disease July 18th . We were given a 5 years life after he had his first surgery and AICD (Automatic Internal Cardiac Defib) 26 years ago. This is a hard week for the family. I pray others find the healing and love of the prayers of others.

I just rewatched this as I continue to pray for your family on the loss of Mark. This was tough year indeed.

Continued prayers for your family, Dr. Lee. This past year I have become emotionally involved with your family, watching the boys do their crazy stuff, and not so crazy stuff. Crying when I heard about Mark's diagnosis last fall and laughing with Mark and his pink Raptor. Enjoying your talks with Uncle Floyd. As a mother, feeling the pain you and your wife must be in, watching your son suffer with cancer. Praying for Jake's wife to have the strength to raise 2 young children without her mate. I was widowed at 29 with 3 young boys, and it's not easy. I have a feeling that she will have family and friends to support her.

Dearest Dr Lee, lots of emotions in this video; I bet most of us who watch you couldn't hold back them tears... As a long time subscriber to Matt's channels it's hard see Jake go. You guys out there in Boerne just all seem to be the nicest people there is and you sure don't deserve this... I'm French, living outside of Paris in a nice, cozy and quiet suburb, but there ain't nothing like my hometown in the mountains by the Spanish border. You would love it there, Doc ! They raise beautiful cows and sheep there, only eating natural grass our in the fields (and surely not grain in huge barns that they never get out of !). Please Doc, send all my love and prayers to dear uncle Floyd from all the way across the pond ! We the French owe a whole lot to his generation ! The video of the deer was priceless. Love to watch those little critters hop and jump around. It was good to see Uncle Floyd, sorry to hear of his problems, but understandable at his age. My heart breaks for you and your extended family with all you have going on, Uncle Floyd, Mark, and now the loss of Jake. Remember how God tested and then came thru for Job. My mother passed away at 98 two years ago. She lived a good life. Poor Mark and Matt for having to go through it all. I love your whole family.

I have so many thoughts that I want to share with you - from church to battles with cancer to good, old fashioned family values and lifestyles - but I feel that the comments section on a RU-vid video is probably not the best place to do so. Suffice to say, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers on an almost daily basis. As a humble man you probably don’t see or believe it to its full extent but let me tell you Lee, you and your family have been a light to the world, a shining example of how a Christian family aught to and can live righteously in this world as role models in so many ways. Thank-you for your part in teaching and building this group of people, your family and its circles of friends and associates, as a subtly evangelical group well accepted and much loved by millions of people from all walks of life. Dr. Lee you are an inspiration to me in so many ways. I have come to care so much for your family through your channel. Uncle Floyd is so sweet and my heart drops each time I see him. He looks so much like my father and I mean alot they could be kin. My father passed at 89 from cancer in 1995. I pray the new trials work for Mark and my heart goes out to the young mother and children who have lost their loved one. Dr. Lee I know your heart is full of love for everyone and I know your hand is in everything when love and help is needed. I spent 25 years working and volunteering at a teaching hospital and come from a med background, so really appreciated all your info. Just wish it was better news. Doc, I follow you, Matt and Mark, will add Uncle Floyd to my prayers again. Y'all have had your share of heartache lately, sad about Jake, so young. Life is tough and gets tougher, just when you thought things were easy! I myself will be going thru neurosurgery again. The hardware from my surgery 21 years ago has shifted, leaning into my larynx, cutting off my oxygen at least 44 times when I sleep, but I wake up each morning thanking God for another day. Hopefully he will guide the surgeons hands. God Bless Dr. Lee!
