Aw yes, new vid from Niko! Absolutely gobsmackingly beautiful shots, bro. I've never been a skier or even merely a snow-person, but after every video of you I start to question it. It looks so tranquil out there. I love being in the mountains as well (long sistance solo-trekking), but I only go in the summer. I'd love to be in a landscape like Lyngen, though. One day, maybe. Until then, i keep watching your stuff. Keep it up!

I was in the middle of the mountain when I got the notification of a new upload. Immediately stopped and added to “watch later” to see at home on the big screen. Now I’m happy to have waited, what a gift for the eye! Those Auroras! And as always Niko, truly great storytelling!

Wonderful video, as always!!! I love your videos Niko. Quite new to skimo here... Around 8:00 it looked like you guys were travelling roped up/belaying eachother without an anchor? Curious how that works or what that technique is? Thanks!

Thanks Declan! The idea on a ridge when you don't have anywhere to anchor, is that if one person falls, the other person jumps on the other side to act as a counterweight. But to be honest I'm not a huge fan of it, as I feel like unless you're extremely on it you risk the entire team being pulled down by the person falling. Kind of the situation guides face when short roping clients.
