TDS is the og i miss when people call it tower delay simulator. It was pretty hard to grind for accel and engineer. And LESS p2w. You can pretty much beat every mode without a p2w gamepass in tds. I still play it, its still fun when there is events
just letting you know, easy mode is VERY outdated and you should play nightmare, a lot of the toilets have animations and also the towers you can grind and trade for
I went into ttd and tried to ask someone why they play this game instead of something good like tds. Instead of giving me a real answer they said I had to "grind" to make the game actually fun. I brought up many points as to why the game sucked and gave them many alternatives like tds, tdx, tower heroes, and a couple of others. Instead of telling me why the game they thought was so good, they didnt give me any good points. One of them brought me to the game, i said the map sucked and they left.
i have a skibidi toilet game that is overall great but grindy. its called "skibi defense" the dev put alot of effort but the grind is kind of hell like tdx
i'm somewhat experienced at ttd and i can say its trash as hell i grinded the game because i got manipulated by skibidi toilet but now i see this game as p2w and trash and when the game has 2 weeks wihout a update the community starts yapping about it. Not only that but they get hundreds of dollars every update and cant even compare to tds in quality even tho its more popular. Also i remember watching a vid of someone yapping about the game dying how much was the game dying? from 100k to 50k when school time i just cannot believe how toxic a community can be and there is even worse communitys, also i remember once saying my opinion about ttd and some random skidi fan started to insult me for basically giving my opinion if the game should die or not. I sincerely rank TTD 1.5/10 of all the money it gets is basically used for nothing more than maps

Yes ttd looks bad but it started out with 2 people working on it and currently 10 or less so its not that bad for less then 10 devs they have like only 5 or 6 ppl working on the actual game the rest in game mods so dont hate that much guys :)

i would honestly rate ttd lower bcz the low quality is purposeful, see the cost of this green laser tower, 299 robux pretty sure from what i heard, and theres 1m of them bought i think, thats almost 300m robux and telanthric doesnt hire devs to make it decent which means it honestly just a robux farm and thats just one tower
As an 11 yr old OG player of ttd and Tds i recommend play TDS since its better ttd are only for players who are abt 6-9 yr olds Playing on theyre Ipad but i respect the 2 games since they are both tower defense games.. Also i started playing tds when i was 8 and ttd when i was 10.
Toilets have no animation cuz the early wave toilets and low difficulty toilets was made when developer was kinda bad at modeling but new toilets are pretty decent cuz they have Animation,can stun units,they have units stun animation, and all units that was made before mid of february has a really bad animation but the units with good animation are new but they are kinda hard to get cuz some of them are Pay 2 Win,some of them are mythics and legendaries, and some of them was the EVENT units and they are limited and also you can buy units for coins in the summon,you can buy and sell units for gems in the marketplace which is in the trading plaza,you can play endless mode, send units through post office (but sending one unit will cost 100 coins),you can also buy crates for gems and..... Trading! Trading is how you can get every unit in tha game but for good trading you need to know the values of units (crates are also tradeable) and if you see someone giving you normal speaker man in the trade its ultra rare cuz most of normal speaker man are untradeable and the tradeable ones you would only get for first 2 weeks when the game was created

ttd's just, horrible. a td game with TRADING?? and GAMBLING FOR TOWERS?? just doesnt go well. the models are also super fucking lazy when telanthric clearly gains a ton of money DAILY. ttd gains at LEAST 40k players daily and has a big dev team, they should do a great work at making designs and animations and revamp A LOT.
Ill agree with you, TTD is kinda boring and meh if we talk about gambling and non stopping grinding. i think that they should focus on reworking the UI, Old Towers (for example, starter towers) and modes (easy, hard and etc), so that it would be much better and would act as a overhaul update. I also forgot that you have to pray god for you to get a good tower, which is kinda mid, and the rng system itself is by far bad. And lets dont forget about balane system in TTD! Its also mid aswell, its that they either keep it or they just make a big balance changes to both towers and enemies. In my personal opinion, its kinda boring and not fun to play, i can point many other things as well, but im too lazy for this. W Video thought, you earned a sub.

yes but tds is WAYYYY less p2w. also, you phrased this like you NEED to pay robux to get an event tower, which you don’t. there are NO towers in tds that REQUIRE robux to get, unlike ttd. crook boss can be gotten for free, pursuit can be gotten for free, mortar can be gotten for free, turret can be gotten for free, and mercenary base can be gotten for free. engineer can be gotten for free too. event towers cost robux so that newer players have a chance to get them, but they aren’t forced to buy them. if you were actually at an event, you could get an event tower for free. there are many towers in ttd that need robux to get, and also there is a LOT of gambling. there is gambling in tds too, but it’s just for skins, not for ENTIRE UNITS. the only important gambling things are for golden skins, but that’s WAYYY less than ttd.
I played toilet tower defense, but i quitted because there is not much to see and less animations, also it takes sooo long to grind because some of the modes are hard and even if you somehow you manage to win the hardest mode your still wasting time because in nightmare "also known as a mode in ttd" it give 600 coins and when you gamble in the gamble machine it costs like 100 coins and the towers are soo rare it is hard to get them so after wasting alot of time you just get alot of commons and other low towers For Tds "the second tower defense game I played" caught my attention on how good the graphics, detail, animations, and gameplay, so I immediately checked the game out and it was awesome, and after that I quitted playing toilet tower defense

I love TTD and I don't even like skibidi toilet. So just because it has skibidi toilet doesn't mean it's a bad game. But still I respect your opinion and your editing skills are super good! (Also I like the gambling part)

Unbiased comparison with tds and ttd(slushi pls pin so that people know extra points on why ttd suck) 1 TDS has its own soundtracks that keep you hooked up because of how good they are. Meanwhile, TTD uses some NCS soundtrack for lobby, uses some free music for matches which dont even keep you hooked up even though they are so long. 2. TDS has high quality animations and has great UI, but TTD has none of the qualities that TDS possess in animation and ui and also copy things from Pet simulator. 3.TTD Compromises a gambling system for little kids to get more premium payouts. But TDS overall compromises an actual buy unit system instead of gambling for mythic units. 3. When it comes to events, TDS does it best. They have voicelines for bosses, actual cutscenes on mid games, and the soundtracks go absolutely all out. They reward you a tower for beating the event. They also give free accessories which get converted to buyable hats, mraning you can get robux for free if you have premium. While TTD just makes models and map design and choose music for the event. You have to repetetively complete the event and its quest to get battlepass. And if you beat the battlepass you can get the limited unit and get crates to gamble for mythics or godlies.
Let alone the more recent new that RU-vidrs like parlo and others had covered is that apparently inhe an mod for ttd was an predator before becoming an mod so that may make ttd an 0/10 And this is probably the worst ttd game out there I seen some ttd games with actual effect and good looking characters

That's pretty much the same for every game that have grind. You'll dedicate your time on the game even if it's bad. There's no way TTD is a 10/10 game.
TTD is like a mix of the usual TD game and Gambling simulator, it's a much more enjoyable experience when you are guaranteed to get a tower, rather than to persuade people to trade it to you or waste money getting it yourself
you waste time repetitively grinding the game to gamble for good towers? and how do you get them in the first place? by playing the game! it's no different in that aspect to TDs, and the fact that you have to trade to actually get the best towers is stupid as fuck! you waste your time hoping to roll a tower and when you finally get it, you go around trading it for something better. you can play TDs without spending money, and you know what you're gonna get when you grind! instead, in TTD you gotta play the game and hope you get what's good, and you'll probably not even get it in the first place. people spend money to get further in the game via gambling, probably losing money by chance, where in TDs, you get what you want. it's pretty simple to me!

In my personal opinion, ttd doesn't deserve the hate it gets like I know, the quality is not that good and there's gambling but THAT literally exists in almost every ttd game even tds (I played tds since 2021) The real reason why ttd has bad animations and not very good quality is that telanthric (the owner of the game) is new to blender so don't expect someone that is new to blender and there somehow able to make a very high quality game, I've been playing ttd since ep 57 update and the quality there was quite trash but since the updates that it was receiving the quality was getting better overtime, at valentine's update on there game, they have hired a new animator which made somewhat decent animations for the towers and the quality was improving overall, ttd will becomes a high detailed game like the others and I hope they improve the game since there is a bunch of scams in trading and hopefully they could add a anti-scam system to ban the scammers. Now that I've given a reason, I know some of you are still going to yap at me and say ttd is trash but that's fine for me:)
I like that you have given a very valid reason as to why ttd is not an absolute puddle of dogwater. However, I still do not like ttd. MAYBE my viewpoint might change in the future.

the whole skibidi toilet brand is catered to children, so why would children want to play the new ones when everyone's playing TTD since its so popular? people started playing it for skibidi toilet, but it then grew further upon that premise (which is very good!), yet is still one of the worse tower defense games with the money they're making. a serious overhaul on the UI or enemies would be great, and wouldn't be too hard to achieve when they're making $10 million+. thanks for the comment tho!

I one time tried tower defense simulator and it was kinda hard even on eazy so yeah its not my favorite tower defense also I do get ttd is kinda ptw and has a luck roller I do get that but is your saying ttd is bad then you also hate pet simulator because at least ttd isn't scummy preston
Id recommend u look at these towers called knife upgraded titan speakerman and upgraded titan drillman(after animation rework ofc)wich have genuine effort put into the models and animations(especially the knife guy)
