Sure nice going to stores alone. Definitely go back for jeans. 😊 Love your touch of Valentine's. Maybe just simple video exercise in the mornings.

Thank you for sharing. I know it is not easy to lose weight when we have developed some not so healthy habits after having kids. I do not recommend counting calories. I think what you are doing works, but I would focus on protein and veggies mainly and sprinkle the pasta, rice, and potatoes. When eating veggies and protein I stay fuller longer. I have begun low carb eliminating bread, pasta, rice and saving it only for weekends and it has helped with bloating and was down a few pounds. Do not forget to drink your water as well. Good luck on your journey and do not be so hard on yourself. You got this!

Exercising at home really helps in losing weight I have been exercising using youtube videos at home for the past 2 years now and it makes exercising more fun and easier if you feel lazy to go outside ❤

Yay! Good on you, Jill! Losing weight is tough-- especially post babies! I'm right there with you! I started my intermittent fasting 3 months ago and it's going great! I'm in a calorie deficit by eating pretty much the same things daily. I'8 months postpartum and down 10lbs with 10lbs to go! I shop at Trader Joe's and Kroger. I don't eat bread (I use Lavash wraps from trader Joe's if I want pizza for lunch---which I make my own), for lunches--- I eat left overs that I make for my husband and I (sweet potatoes, broccoli and chicken in the oven), for dinner-- I use oven left over chicken and throw it in a salad and call it a day, and for snacks--I have a peanut butter(no sugar) and apples. I hope you find an eating and fitness routine that helps you lose weight. Summer is right around the corner! Oh... I also walk every night after my daughter goes to sleep! Have fun!

What does a typical day of eating look like for you? I’m realizing that if I want to eat healthy things, it doesn’t leave much room for other stuff if I’m trying to be in a deficit! So much food in the stores and I’m just like yeah, I don’t have room for that in my diet right now lol. It’s hard to resist all the yummy stuff and eat the stuff that will actually fuel my day instead, but that’s what I’m trying to do. Do you get hungry at night?

@@MommyEtc so, a typical day is waking up around 5am and having only coffee and a bit of creamer. For the first month of starting intermittent fasting, I was starving in the mornings because I didn't start eating until noon(which I'm still on the 16/8 fast. First meal I have is a wrap from the nights before chicken. I add a shit ton of spinach and sweet potatoes in there. I usually get the whole wheat tortillas since they're lower carb. My second "meal" is a shake or a banana with 1 scoop of peanut butter, and my last meal is literally the easiest meal of either sheet pan chicken breast or chicken thighs--sweet potatoes--and either broccoli or cauliflower. I just cut everything up, spray olive oil or avocado oil on them, and this Kinder seasoning from Costco(roast for like 20 minutes). My last "meal" is right before 8pm and I'll usually have plain Greek yogurt with frozen(thawed blueberries) or an apple and peanut butter. I'll try to find you on IG and send you pics of my 4 meals I have. I hope that helped a bit. Honestly, simple is key and motivation to change! I don't feel hungry at night anymore since higher proteins and complex carbs usually will offset any hunger----plus I stop eating at 8. You can do this. I was surprised how much I've lost just by changing my eating habits.

The same thing happens to me when i eat spaghetti, an hour after I'm starving like i didn't eat, i have to do some research on that and see why that happens. Oh, Paisley is so cute and full of energy, she's reading books, talking on the phone and going down the slide all while talking to the camera 😂 She had me cracking up, maybe she was vlogging her day like mama 😂

I think it’s something to do with the pasta being a simple carb so it breaks down faster, and something with the sugar lol. I’m no scientist obviously 😂 Paisley has a ton of energy. We come upstairs so she can run back and forth lol

Hi Jill .The fasting works .Im 63 and its super hard to lose weight .I lost 20 pounds tbe first 2 weeks and 45 in 60 days .I walked everyday for 20 to 30 minutes . Good luck ❤ Paisley is too cute .❤

Paisley is so cute and so busy. I try to do my best from 8:00 p.m. to 11am. I try to keep my calories under 1500. I'm not a strict about counting. I don't think you are eating enough. Good luck. Unfortunately I dream of sweets.

I want to do intermittent fasting too. It works, it’s just sometimes hard to stick to for me. I’m also trying to lose weight. Around 35-40lbs and just trying to do calorie deficit right now. But protein is important! When I focus what I’m eating with protein I’m fuller longer. Cottage cheese and protein powder recipes have been my go to recently :) good luck! Would love to see more progress videos !

It is hard to stick to but they say a habit forms in what…a month? So I have to try to stick to it at least that long! Funny you mention cottage cheese- I just tried that the other day and never again! Not for me lol. But the I have some protein shakes that are good.

Try having 30+ grams of protein for breakfast. You may be hungry because you’re not having enough protein.

Also have the protein shake with like egg whites with spinach for more protien! I lost lost 70 pounds and kept it off for 6 years now. So I have a little knowledge 😊
