Lol it’s funny u say that because I just literally thought the same exact thing as I opened the comments to kind of see if I’d possibly see anyone else mentioning the same thing, in the back of my head I thought probably not. I thought it was just me lol. But as soon as I opened it there was ur comment. What do u know, so I wasn’t the only one after all! Lol 🙃🙂
I watched this a few months and finally tried it. I loved it! I can finally extend the time between my visits to the salon. You are the best! Thanks so much!
While I'm sad Revlon does animal testing, I have to say I thought you were stunning with gray/silver hair. I love the dark color too, but the gray was especially eye-catching on you. It brought out your skin tone and amazing brown eyes.
Wow! I’m going to try it i have the same problem white hair on top but i usually use the 5 minutes mix one but this one is better thank you so much fantastic video👏🏻👏🏻
Hi! Girl, because of u, I bought this and let me tell u... that I’m not using anything else but this. So easy, quick and only 5 minutes. Doesn’t have an odor either. Just the whole thing about this is excellent in my book. And great for the price
You really are stunning. Its funny that you went back to coloring the hair and I went the other way. I miss my blonde but its just easier and saves me a lot of money.
It’s like £4 every 6 weeks to colour hair and if you half it, you get two uses out of it. It’s pittance really to have nice hair and look good. Grey or silver rarely looks attractive, it’s very ageing.
I agree that you should stay with the color that your using , it makes you look so pretty! I will definitely give this product a try, it’s so annoying for me to do the whole area of my head. Thanks for sharing this with us
Looks like an amazing product but honestly I couldn't see any roots in your hair. Thanks for the product introduction. I'm really glad I found your page.
I am a food vegan and I do my best to make choices that are cruelty free when there are comparable products to choose from . ❤️ I wonder is everyone that only uses cruelty free products also vegan? I think we all do our best 😘
Beautiful as always! Please Lisa can you do an update on your supplements ? Your hair looks very full and beautiful , my hair is thinning because of hypothyroidism. 💖
First time watching your channel. You make root touch up so easy. I have natural black hair with some balage at the ends (my hair is long) recently I have been getting gray hair, and I don’t know where to start and how to choose a color (black or brown?) Thanks
Your color is lovely and I luv the product...have been using it for awhile, but your video is still helpful! I simply use the Dark Brown shade, and it blends great on my Medium Brown dyed hair that comes out dark brown. Would you share which brand/product that you're using for your entire head, please?
I just bought this product and will try it right now I thought to see if any videos were done about this product and so far your channel is the easiest find and shortest time so here I go... thanks for sharing and giving easy tutorial
Bout to try this right now. I really only have grey around my face, so in the interest of saving my hair from a full color, I'm using this. Thank God Revlon figured this out. Definitely a game changer. God bless 🙏🏼❤️
Am i the only lazy person here thinkn...the hassle of doing roots again after so long of letting it grow out..and i think she looked beautiful and young with the grey also..but our comments dont matter aslong as she is happy with herself and if she decides to ditch the dye again ..it shouldn be a debate 😂😊
I have been waiting for Revlon to come out with a root touchup. I stopped coloring my hair because it was always showing the roots early. Maybe I will give this a try, I like myself better with darker hair. Thank you Lisa for the great info.
Thanks for this because I just clipped a $3.00 coupon. I’ll also think more about just colouring where I part my hair. Really good presentation without unnecessary jibber-jabber!
Thanks for video. I have a grey hair too. My original hair color is black. For grey hair I usually use Hena. It is a natural product and my grey hair turns to the dark red wine color. It doesn't look bad , it is just not black. I have a question about your product. Is that chemical color and when you use it is damaging hair? Do you apply on clean hair ? Where can I buy it? I hope u will reply
Thanks for the new tip. When I had to take an early retirement in 2010 I made up my mind I was going to go gray I had it bleached at the salon and she used a real light color and so for nine years I have been going gray:) Every now and then I think I want to go back to a light auburn but I don't want to have the upkeep. This sounds like the answer if I start thinking crazy and color it again. I will see how it works for you and maybe try it, either that or I'll talk myself out of it. Looks great on you Lisa.
I also just touch up my part in the middle and the hair on the sides of my face. I was kind of leary about trying this product, but after seeing your video, I will give it a try. Thank you. Your video helped a lot.
Hola!!!! i just found your channel and i'm binging all your videos!!! Love...Love...Love you!!!...Gorgeous Too...Thank you for such a great detailed color touch up video...seems like my greys are creeping in faster than I can blink XOXOXO
I can't believe it this was the best root cover up you can use it whenever you wanted to and how much you needed. And I think it's been discontinued because you can't find it anywhere. The only question is why?
Hi Lisa . My sister went totally grey when she was 20 years old But it was getting so dry after years of coloring. She finally decided to let her hair go back to her natural grey. I will be honest did not think i would like the new haircolor. But it looks so beautiful. on her. Her hair is more platinum that grey .
Lisa Thank you for posting this video! I have reactions to dark hair color but because this is only on my hair for 5 minutes I had no reaction and my hair looks fabulous! Love your videos!
Saw your video about how your hair was ruined yesterday. So sorry that happened to you. I grew my 30+ year dyed hair out over 2 years. I had color removed applied twice to under layers. Top layers that had been long highlighted, I had more highlighted. I used silver Overtone on the top layers regularly for about 18 months. And I blew dry my hair and used a flat iron some days, the whole time. No bad results at all. Now my silver hair is all grown out. I no longer need Overtone, but I use Aveda Blue Malva shampoo and conditioner. Still use a variety of heat tools. My hair is just fine. I'm wondering why yours turned strange colors. Did you call Overtone to get their feedback?
I used this for the front half of my head. I like the brush, it feels very solid in my hand. I tried to not take too long, but it was the first time I did my hair by myself. My hair got kind of dry at the end of spreading, I think that's why the direction said to wet it again after going thru the sections. I essentially filled the cap half full, washed the brush in it and used a bit of that water to wet my hair again. It took me about 15 minutes total. The smell wasn't too bad (I have never used ammonia hair dye before this). I had left over hair conditioner from last Revlon hair dye (not this product) that I used after this dying, so my hair is very soft. My hair color match to the other color is excellent.
Woweeee, each time you post, you look younger than the previous video!!👍👍😁 That stuff really does work fantastically well! I hope you have a terrific weekend! Love ya! 🤗💋 🌞🌻Sunny
Been doing some research on hair care all natural. Try using Knox geletin non flavored as hair repair. You are beautiful and my new inspiration for long term healthy living and feeling good.
I can’t not wait to use this. I only have about 25 hairs in the parameter of my hairline that are gray so this will be perfect. I used to pluck them now I can’t :)
I've been looking at oVertone colors, which is semi-permanent (washes out after awhile) & doesn't harm your hair (made with various natural oils). It comes as a thick premixed cream, in a jar, you just reach in, get a bit, & apply it to where you need, wait about 5 minutes & wash out. Most of their colors are kooky and wild (blue, pink, green..) which is a bit young for me, but they also have black, browns, reds, & 3 levels of silvers. I'm trying to figure out what method I'll use to grow out my grey, I don't want to harm it anymore, but still want to be presentable of course. This Revlon product is interesting, tho, I must admit... Oh, and in my "grey quest" investigations, I ran across a remedy for your problem with the heated flatiron turning your grey hair a different color, but I can't remember what it was they said they used.. (sorry, I realize that's not helpful much). Anyway, there is a remedy out there if anyone else has this problem. (It was a discussion about heat bringing out purple, red or blue color deposited in your hair by "silver" shampoos and conditioners). Thanks for the video, you're very lovely & helpful!
I'm absolutely gonna get this I have the same good situation side edges and side part this makes so much since cause sometimes I don't feel like I need to do all my roots or even taking the time. Gonna get some this weekend I saw a commercial for this so I'm glad they sent it to you do review.
Definitely! That’s what I am going to use from now on to touch up my roots. Check out all of the colors by clicking the link I put in the description box below. 😘
I started watching you because of the gray hair - I am lucky not to have any in my later 30s so far, so I don't know why the algorithm brought you to my attention. Anyways I have a bit of a fasscination for gray hair, I think it looks stunning and a bit elf like. Although most people say it ages you and even though you looked stunning with gray hair, not a single wrinkle, amazing - I have to agree that you look even younger with the colored hair. Intersting to watch you either way and hey, maybe you make me dcide what to do when gray appears in my hair!
I am so glad I came across this video because I started colouring my hair black, but every 5 weeks or so it's grey again. So I really need to check this product out. Can anyone tell me how they treat their coloured hair because I have a feeling my hair is getting thin? It looks so to me.
Have you ever tried the Root Touch Up? Think it’s by Clairol. Wondering how this product compares to it 🤔 I agree with you on the powder problem.... they flake into my face as well when I touch my hair without realizing it.... then there’s fallout specs I don’t see until later. Definitely going to try this product.... have a drawer full of “tried it” coloring. Also have used a magic marker In a pinch. Lol
Thank you! Follow you all the time! Same age, similar things going on in life. Nice to be able to relate ... totally over the 21 year old blonds talking about wrinkle creams! Lol.
This Lisa has been watching you since the divorce and I’m so inspired by you.Im two years single and just starting to date again...I love you with the dark hair you look amazing ❤️💙We can only go up from here
I haven’t seen it here in Australia as yet, but that’s not unusual Lol 😂, We always seem late to the party.....Love how they keep bringing out these type of products to do at home....Thanks Lisa for another great tutorial....💖💖💖💖
You are so welcome! I put a link to the Revlon Permanent Root Erase below in the description box. You can also click here to see all the colors: bit.ly/2I9rvoD
When you go to the salon to get it colored, does all the Revlon color need to have washed out, or can you do permanent color right over the Revlon color?
Yes!! Yes!! yes!!, I'm so excited about this. Lisa do you think this will work for my eyebrows as well? My eyebrows have many gray hairs that eyebrow products don't really cover so dying seems to be the best option. Anyway great video!! Xoxo Lori K.😄 🌷 🌸 🌷 🌸 🌷 🌸 🌷 🌸 🌷 🌸
I would not use this near your eyes. Here is a link to the lash & brow tint that I use. It comes in different colors and I use the black: amzn.to/2X7TucB
