*I forgot to mention, the 2 spray on concealers stay on till you wash it out. The Cover Your Gray brush on applicator "says" it is waterproof, but it isn't in the slightest. Tried it a couple of years ago: covered all my grays along the hairline, without staining the skin, but boy oh boy…….it looked so unnatural and i had people stairing at my hair all the time! Also don’t like the sticky texture on my hair, plus the staining of my fingers everytime i touch my hair, even after it ‘dried’ up. I ditched it in the garbage bin. Transitioned gracefully to a greyhead and never felt so free in my life. Guess what…nobody is staring at my hair nomore and i get compliments all the time♥️

Omg I’m glad your applying the mascara wand too. I literally use my old mascaras for my gray hair coverage around the edges for years now. It’s easy and a quick hack for in between root touch ups. ❤

Very nice. Your humility and transparency are coming across perfectly for us women with graying hair and feel a little frustrated but shouldn't. My temples are completely White right above my ears since I was 25 and I'm so thankful to see a mascara go on them. It's such a nice touch up. Thank you

These products are great, that's my problem, within a week and a half of getting my hair dyed, the grey grows in especially around my face and it makes me look so old. Dying my hair every other week is not only expensive but it's a pain to keep getting it done. Thanks for telling us about these products.

Awww thanks so much and I agree with you 100%. I'm fine with aging, but I'm not trying to just give up and look older than I feel. I still feel like I'm 18...and act like it sometimes too. LOL I know some people say to stop doing all of this and just let the grays show and be natural and embrace nature and the aging process, etc etc, BUT if that's the case, then I shouldn't wear makeup, shouldn't shave my arm pits (well I don't I have laser hair removal LOL), shouldn't pluck my brows, shouldn't wear spanx. LOL I get it that some women want to be gray and they look beautiful but I don't feel pretty with gray and I enjoy wearing makeup. I want to age gracefully, hence the name of my channel. We're just loving ourselves and trying to be true to what we feel. I've been thinking about embracing my gray hair forever as tobwhat my mother has done. But deep down inside, it's not me..it's not being vain or trying to please others but it's how you feel good about yourself. How you like others to treat you the way you wanted to be treated. I've come to a point to just be myself. As I age, I became more conscious and cautious about how I look..I'd rather be bold and beautiful in my own right than to be miserable and resentful because I did not listen to what my heart's desires.

Gray away is available in a compact with applicator and mirror at target in store which is so convenient for last minute fixes. I love this. I threw away all of my sprays. You can also run a soft toothbrush over the powder for a lighter application. Rain? No problem. Great stuff. Shampoos right out. I use it on my eyebrows also.

I use Loreal spray for gray hair. First, I spray the color the top of my head near the hair parting. Then I take the cotton ball, spray on it and color my temples with it.

I've got a great idea for spray coloring the hairs around the forehead so it doesn't look like a cap. Take a fine tooth comb and lay it against the forehead and push up as if you're pushing the comb into the hair but just keep it there and then spray. That way the hairs get the spray but the forehead doesn't.

Thanks for the you-tube much appreciated. I use a spray and this is what I ended up doing when I got splattered etc....just sharing a tip..I sprayed it into an egg cup and held my hand around the top then I used a multi soft tooth brush to apply it! It looked so much better than just spraying onto hair. You look fabulous by the way..

Thank you so much! You’re a gorgeous woman and I love your videos. I have grey in the same places you do and only color every two months or so. Coloring for brunettes can be harsh and you can get thinning around the edges of your hairline. I love using those sprays but never thought of using a mascara wand to apply part of it. What a great idea! Less of it ending up on your face. Lol

Awe thanks a ton. So very kind of you. It is such a challenge for sure! I LOVE the mascara on the little hairs around my face. I can't believe I never tried it sooner! Exactly, I used to have that thick spray line too close to the hair line and it looked horrid. Of course freshly coloring my hair looks the best, but seriously who can color every 2 weeks and it's not like it is "healthy" LOL Thanks a ton for watching! LOL Oh I know, I try to stretch out my hair colorings too. I do really like Madison Reed hair coloring and it is a lot better for my hair than what I was using. I have another video of a few shampoos I love that really thicken my hair but they have really helped my hair to grow and prevents so much hair from falling out too. I've recently found your channel and have truly been enjoying all your videos! Thank you so much. I've got a L'Oreal spray that I use but, I've never seen the wand used before! It looks so much easier. I also just recently started using a product called Color Wow root cover up. It's the same basic idea but, comes as a powder with a brush applicator. It's super helpful for right up front where I'm thinning. I apply it directly to to my scalp for a more blended look. Look forward to watching more videos. ☺️

Oh my God. This has been life-changing!. I have got only a few grey hairs around my temples, but I think have lost a bunch of hair already (and burnt my scalp so many times) trying to dye them and nothing. The rest of my hair gets so damaged for only a few days of joy....because if the hair dye works...it is only briefly. I will definitely try these two - thanks for the video :-)

I wouldn't consider wanting to do a quick root touch up the same as vanity. Now if I/someone were to obsess over my/their looks and spend hours doing hair, makeup and in the mirror all day, every day, then yes that sounds like total vanity for sure. I think it's quite healthy to take care of our appearance, learn tips and tricks to age gracefully BUT without obsessing over it and making it our whole focus in life. I do agree with ya that it is tiring sometimes...and when I feel like that, I just don't put on makeup and don't do my hair. I'm lucky if I feel like brushing my hair somedays! LOL 🤪

I’m late to the party. I usually box dye to cover the “wisdom sparkles”. I like these! Of course now I’m about to retire from uniform so I want to go purples and blues 😁

Excellent video lovely lady. Great Tips. Greying white hair is nothing to do with age. Can be lack of Iron in body, circulation- yoga the fish prose helps and massaging head each day for a few mins. Don't wash with hot water as this dries hair. Massage hair oil once a week n leave on for 1/2 hrs . Then wash off. Other causes is 1- stress so get your sleep. Lack of VIT B people is cause of insomnia. Iron, Biotin, selenium, zinc excellent for skin, hair, nails. Walnuts have magnesium ( great if you get migraines 1 walnut is enough). Avoid nuts, achaar ( pickle) if you are on your periods as these foods are warm and will cause breakouts on your skin and heavy flow. For Lipoma Lumps eat tumeric/ add to your foods. Flax seeds n apricot have omega 3 great for lumps. AvIOD cakes, fizzy drinks, fried foods, ice cream , doughnuts, jam if you gave lumps. Circulation is key so exercise, walk each day then brisk walk gradually. Always warm-up before you run, dance, you/ jump.

First of all, you are stunning! Somehow seeing you made me feel better about graying so early! I’m 55 and have been coloring over 20 yrs! Even at my age, I just feel like my face feels too young to go gray! I’m just not ready! I color my own hair but am so worried about all the toxins I’ve been exposed to. I want to try Henna but I’ve heard enough bad things about it covering gray that it scares me. I’ve used sprays like yours for in between but haven’t tried the mascara looking brush around the sides and forehead so looking forward to trying that. Thank you for being vulnerable. I hate the fact that I almost feel shame for my gray which rationally I know is absolutely ridiculous since I can’t help it!❤️

I actually learned to spray it on a big blush brush that i use only for this, and than i brush the white hair spots. By doing this you save a lot of product and avoid breathing so much product in the air

I’ve tried those products, the sprays and brush wand. I don’t like that they leave hair sticky and spray gets messy! I use Madison Reed powder. It has a brush and love it ,so much more natural. It even has an eyebrow brush that you can use for your eyebrows.

I use many of these!! I don’t like how dirty it makes my hair feel!!! The 2 week greying is so stressful! I’m going through this and it’s really began damaging my hair. I use to just color my roots extra light blonde and my hair was bouncy, full and healthy! See my profile picture . I now struggle to have that any longer after a ER hysterectomy. My hormones have destroyed my hair. Then I became very unwell had to have 10 more back to back surgeries . My hair has went through so many bad situations. Very sad

Your roots are like mine at 2 weeks bc I use minoxidil for random alopecia areata. I would love to see how you color your roots at home. I use one of the root touch ups at home. It's made by Clairol. It is so tedious and takes a long time. I hate, HATE coloring my roots and am considering going gray at 49.

Im just starting to let my gray grow out, so Im using semi permanent color in lighter shade each time on my already colored hair..it tones down the gray and helps blend a little. I keep cutting my hair because it grows fast and eventually all my colored hair will be gone and I should end up with a more salt and pepper look. Im looking forward to no more hair color or touching up. I have tried the root sprays (different brands than here) but they made my hair and scalp feel sticky and sticky after a few hours. But it does beat paying for salon color every month.

I've used the GreyAway & another brand (both found at Walmart & almost $10 each & one was a dollar more than the other) but I can spray maybe four, five times of touch ups and it runs out so I wish there was a bigger canister. PRO: it covers well (blonde, brown, black), great when you need to do it quickly. It does spurt color out so be careful not to spray on or near clothing, towels, rugs, and white vanity (it will stain if not wiped off quickly enough). I tried the mascara type but if you don't do it carefully it will grab your long hair and not easy to release hair so that was a pain (do exactly how lady does it). There's also a "crayon" type where you wet the stick (like a thick lipstick) and run it along the white roots. After it dries it's a bit tacky so better to use lightly as possible. Another is a powder type for touch-up which also worked somewhat.

When I use Everpro Gray Away I do my hairline while it’s still wet and I’ve put my styling product on my hair as well then I spray Everpro on 2 Cotton balls and press them all around the hairline. You may have to spray the cotton balls a few times when going around the hairline but it looks more natural this way.
