I get the impression Ken’s passing really made the whole hoonigan team rethink what they want out of life. It has really been a beautiful thing to see come out of such a tragic situation. We don’t have much time here, you’ll only ever regret the shit you didn’t do.

Hey Hert!! I was actually the person that dropped off the diecast model of your car at Hoonigan!!! There are a few gs300 that come in that color orange with some aftermarket pieces so it was modified from a stock one to match up with your full size car!!!1..

Honestly, you were as much of a key to Hoonigan’s success as Scotto or Block. Your enthusiasm is infectious and you are truly the people’s champ. Excited for all the big things you will continue to do, homie.

I stumbled across you guys in 2020, the year my second son was born. I spent up to eight hours a day for 3 months holding him in a children’s hospital 5 hours from home. I did this to keep him comfortable while my wife worked to keep our health insurance. Scrolling through RU-vid looking for an escape, I found your content and enjoyed every minute of it. You all just seemed to fit together. The projects were fun, the burn yard was fun…all of it. My son is one of five children known in the world with an unnamed genetic disorder. He may never walk or talk. But he loves the sound of engines and burn outs. We still watch hours of car content. We can’t thank you enough for helping us get through a difficult time in our lives. We wish you all the best moving forward 🙏🏼

Hert really was one of if not The biggest reason why I kept watching the Hoonigans, I’m glad to know he has his own channel to keep up with him.

The one thing I remember the most about The climbkhana files was you holding a rod with a GoPro on the end, end the other guys praising you for knowing how a car will react and therefore gets the best shots. As you said, you guys went against the grain. And I am a so big fan for it! No corporate angles, just friends out there making cars and having fun. You tapped into the Jackass/skater culture in a way too. Not in stunt and madness, but just you could see you had a good time together. And just some of the cars you buildt! A rallycross Fiesta at ARA, Hoonicorn, Hoonitruck, Escort Cossie V2.. Just making cars of high quality, but still having the punk rock/hip hop edge. I watched Kens mystories on Instagram everyday, tuned in to Car crash weekly, watching the Gymkhana videos at the second they released with friends. You inspired me, and now I am faking till I'm making myself. Doing Facebook shorts for a rallycross team running an Ford RS200.

One thing I learned about life is that when it comes to guys (pre-family), we just want to have fun and be part of other people's projects and goals. As we grow older, wiser, and build a family, now you have a family to secure. And having fun and being part of another person's dream will not safely secure your family. Therefore, by nature, you want to build your own empire for you and your family, and have young, eager, enthusiasts help you build your empire for the next decade or so until they'll need to build their own.
