In Tiberian Dawn Single Ion Canon shot takes about 5 Minutes to charge But It can't even kill turrets or even a single hand of nod It can only kill about 10 soldier group I think Kane lives because he have protection from temple of NOD's roof
@Lord Of Vengeance Yes he wears that in Tiberian Sun, this look is further developed into a half mechanical face mask that replaces one of his eyes in Kanes Wrath.
@Wykletypl There are actually hints in the cut scenes of the later games that point towards Kane being Cain from the Bible and that the mark of God is immortality and also if you notice his schemes have getting more nefarious from game to game (except C&C4 which was complete bullshit anyways) so that explains the vengeance upon the person who killed him thing.
Kane's plan the first game was to defeat GDI this game. The only time his plan succeeded was C&C3, since he wasn't planning on winning, but he of course doesn't tell anybody that when he's preparing to start the war.
Kane was embracing the power of the Ion Cannon. Despite popular belief, he actually absorbed the energy which turned him into the strongest being on the planet. This allowed him to survive the many "deaths" that would await him.
@TheLoneWolf1993 and at the start with a Second in command called Seth as the one who replaced Able. It's amazing how they bring these references to bear in a plot line of a computer game that is about progressive, futuristic warfare. I am glad the saga is over despite everything. Feels like a 14 year obsession is at an end.
Hahah! Nice notice :p Beastie Boys - Intergalactic uses Starcraft sounds (or vice versa) like the 'garrison' sound (when entering bunkers or unloading transportship etc). Then there's the Zerg scream, used in loads on loads of TV programs/shows/films, either horror, comedy or random.. I've heard more as well but can't come up with it right now ^^
if EA had not changed the hole storyline of the Red Alert and Tiberium Sun and if Westwood still existed, then the Red Alert and Tiberium wars would had been in the same storyline, i mean after Red Alert would fallow the events of Tiberium Sun, and so the Kane's presence in red alert would be explained
well it does depict him under the temple ruins under the new temple at seraivo on regegade. It shows A figure killing another person probally abel and the ruins where it is is full of mutants and Tiberiam gas and i think kane mentions something about abel too when your down there
Yeah.. my guess is that the the "actual time line" of the C&C universe for the Tiberium world is PC version of Dawn where Kane is buried by rubble and not hit by ion cannon, then GDI wins again in Sun, and then NOD wins in Tib War which leaves GDI alive but NOD off earth and the Scrin making the come back to earth eventually. Kane show in the end of Soviet victory in RA1 has been averted I suppose or just discounted. I pissed when I saw him at the end of that though! =]
@BoydTheMilkmanX westwood had no intention to make this a trilogy at all, it was just such a succes that they came out with RA1 and later on Tiberiun Sun
You can't survive being stabbed in the stomach (TS), neither you can survive this. Well, seriously, as fan of C&C, just tell me: When you Kane reappearing, don't you wonder how the hell he survived previously?
have you played Tiberium Wars? in it the Scrin Supervisor says about Kane "This being already exists in our database. Genetic derivations unknown." this means that Kane isn't human and that the Scrin already met him before
Okay, then I suppose that at the time of Tiberian Dawn he was secretly gathering the tiberium for his missile, and GDI was to busy fighting him to notice. Still, he didn't expect to lose. I suppose that by Tiberuim Sun the use of the missile would be killing to birds with one stone. I think that Kane and CABAL coming into contact is what caused CABAL to go berserk, since it sounds like it got some of Kane's personality. That or Kane simply ordered CABAL to do what it did.
Kane getting hit by the ion cannon or rubble has nothing to do with which version of the game you have. You get to see the ion cannon ending, if you destroy the temple with the ion cannon. Destroy it with anything else, and you get the rubble ending movie. :)
Actually this one is the "second ending" :p The other is the defaultt one.. this is only seen if you leave the Temple as last building, then damage it and finally finish it off with the ion cannon. Though all evidene points to this one being the official Canon one. All console versions of C&C1 only have this ending.
The one and only C&C death that we still do not know the answer to, seriously Kane's got courage to go hugging a huge orbital laser. Anyways, well C&C 3 he was never there, it was bait, Firestorm, CABAL revived him...what about this...the only death that has been unexplained for so long
Rule of thumb, Hassan, you can't kill the Messiah. Kane lives, and he will lead our Brotherhood to the stars. Ascension is at hand for the faithful. One vision, one purpose. The technology of peace. Peace through power!
Relax, all of you. To my knowledge, the Red Alert universe is an alternate timeline which branched off from our timeline when Einstein used the time machine seen in the RA1 intro to permaban Hitler. The Tiberium-timeline, however, is based on OUR timeline, not the RA one. Since Kane existed even before the point of divergence, he makes his appearance in RA1. tl;dr RA timeline =! Tiberium timeline; Kane exists in both.
well, if you ask me, i think that wasn't kane at all.i think he used another member of the brotherhood to get blasted by the ion cannon,so everyone thought he was dead, and he (the real kane) got away
@makemap Not quite. Kane's...well, he's Kane. That's about the only way to describe him. He made CABAL, was nearly possessed by said AI, and created LEGION from CABAL, which has some of CABAL's programming in it (so there's a possibility it could go rampant as well) but is less independent.
Corret but there are 2 parts to his name, C&C takes alot of its stuff from biblical things like The brotherhood of Nod as in the land of Nod, Tiberian or Ichor in Greek means blood of a god and the gods blood is said to be green and posionus (sound familar) Cabal is also a relegion, as in Cabalists, or the book of cabal.
... You can't kill the messiah, he's just yawning to guess when these foolish mortals will stop trying to kill him. I mean jeez, all of his predictions were right on the dot, and if you take the prequels into effect he has lived for around 160 ish years without aging. To reiterate, You can't kill the messiah.
As far as I know Kane might even actually be the biblical Cain...considering the Scrin Foreman, upon hearing about Kane in Tiberium Wars, says something like "We know him! We have met his species before!". Oooh yeah, mysteries over mysteries...anyway, if Kane lived in Warhammer 40k, Tzeentch would love him...;) Also, IMMA CHARGIN MAH ION CANNON!
Nope I read some official thingermajig which stated that its the same timeline. Think about it, Tiberium Dawn had stuff like Ion Cannon and other high tech stuff, while the year wasnt even 2000 or more. Thats only possible if events like RA1 and 2 happened.
@sawgunner217 Now, I get the story, Kane is a crazy leader. Who thinks that light will take him to heaven. He got reincarnated by Cabal(A.I), Took control of Kane's mind through Implants, so Kane is Cabal. Dunno about the rest. In Kane Wrath's he revived the LEGION who is secretly still Cabal. Cabal isn't replaced. The LEGION in C&C 3 is CABALS army.
cain lived..... he really did. hes all fucked up in tiberium sun. i dont know if c&c 3 is cannon or not but there's not a scratch on him in the youtube vids
