This is so ridiculous 😂😂😂 eliminated contestant has to sing again after having her dreams crushed, then has to harness herself up onto a flying moon, whilst Lloyd Webber sits on his throne. She then has to pretend not to look shit scared that she’s going to plunge to her death whilst singing a song from the wizard of Oz, tears rolling down her face as all the contestants that were more successful than her sing in her face and follow her around the room as she’s dragged off the stage on a floating moon and into the rafters above.

This was the most emtional goodbye of the series so far. John Partridge loved her, you could see he was genuinly hurt when she went

Steph and Stephanie were best friends there. They are both great actresses and singers. Steph Feron started to cry.

I remember watching this show when it aired first, live on BBC TV. These girls were all incredible! 'Dorothy' was a brilliant show to inspire young and aspiring performers. ....Oh, how I wished to have been on this very show! This episode, truly very special to me, something about this particular performance. Isn't it just so touching?! I think Stephanie has a beautiful voice and should have stayed!!!! She could have been Dorothy! This song, 'somewhere over the rainbow', has such a beautiful message. For decades to come, it will be enjoyed even more so now. It should be included in the school curriculum, as apart of drama studies. I hope these girls are now still performing. I think it would be just sublime to have a show as good as this on TV. To be able to manage emotions, (I can see that is very dramatic to experience, just by watching) so well at a young age is spectacular. ONE of the best performances I cry every time.

She is so disliked now by most people on CBBUK but I love her and seeing this clip for the first time made me love her more. LOL She was great doing The Spy Who Loved Me also.

She was great and seemed the most sad to leave and people seemed to be more emotional when she left so she had a lot of friends on the show

I still think she deserves to achieve bigger things beyond Hollyoaks.

It's heartbreaking because she has to stay in character....it's show business, acting, it's what the jobs all about.

This was the most emotional fair well for me. It was so obvious her dreams had just been broken by a few words of Andrew and she was so deep in tears I knew she would have trouble singing the song. But I was really happy that she was able to hit the last few notes at the end of the song even though she stopped singing half way through. Stephanie was my favourite and it's terrible that she's gone. I still don't think they should make them sing such an emotional song when they are sad.

She shouldnt have left she was my favourite from the start :( Every time i watched her perform i would always say "shes definatly Dorothy" but no that shes gone its all up to steph now to win it :) I loved how steph said "you can do it " to stephanie when she couldnt sing because she was crying so much :( I hope stephaine does do really well because i agree with andrew she does have a great career ahead of her :)) STEPH TO WIN DOROTHY :D xxxxxxxx Miss u stephanie :( xxxxxxxxx

This leaves me in tears each time I watch it and I rarely cry at TV or films. Much respect to a 17 year old for being able to sing like that when she was clearly devastated. The bit at the end is amazing and she is by far my favourite.

She was my winner from the very beginning. Insanely talented with a wonderful personality. It's a pity Stephanie but we all know you have a massive career ahead of you

Awhh genuinely my favourite definitely has a future in theatre I act felt she was way more suited to Dorothy than Steph Who I think is a bit too jazzy and brash 4 it (personal opinion)

I heard someone on TV trying to dismiss this programme, but for me, it was prefect television. The way the remaining contestants looked up and hoped the song would go well was priceless, it really caught the emotion of the moment.

*Today is 9 years since Over The Rainbow started on BBC One!* Crazy, crazy, crazy! Next year marks 10 whole years since OTR started. My favourite TV show of all time, I have so many memories of it! *HAPPY 9TH BIRTHDAY OTR ❤❤*

@AlanAlanAlanSteve Don't be bitter by saying it's a fix. All the girls have had bad song choices over the weeks. I had hoped that the public would think for themselves and see passed the lack of choreography Stephanie did, and see passed John and Sheila's comments... and listen to her VOICE, which was flawless. Bad song choices for Danielle: Take That song & I'm Just a Little Girl... every girl has had an average... sad thing is I didnt feel Stephanie was at all this week.

Listen up omgygod, you are the one that sent me a response sayng BOOOOOOOOOOOO, i never said i didn't like her, just that she was not the best person to play Dorothy, she wasn't, she had no inner deph to play such a complex character, and i thought her main interest was to sing high notes, people are forgetting this IS NOT A SINGING CONTEST, IT IS CONTEST ABOUT FINDING THE NEXT DOROTHY, if that makes me mean, then im mean, at least i have an opinion to say what i like and don't like.

She and Danielle were the best by far. She shouldn't had gone. She sounded soooooooooo good when she sang Over the rainbow. She would had made a perfect Dorothy and i am soooooo sad that she went and i would loved to see her in the Wizard of Oz as Dorothy. Steph had already been in the bottom two on week 1 and that song she sang was awful. i cannot believe that Andrew saved her rather than Stephanie who had never been the bottom two before and this was the first week when she got bad comments!!!

@BettePorter25 Now, I loved Stephanie and absolutely thought she should have gotten to the finale. 100%. But, the fact that Jenny has never been to see a west end show can't count for any part of casting. Granted, you need passion and interest but who's to say she just never got round to seeing one? It's like not casting an actor in say Doctor Who because they've never seen the show. For the record however, I don't rate Jenny at all.

She's 17 of course she's going to be emotional - I was suprised Dani wasn't like that - no matter whether or not you're expecting it I'm sure having what you so desperatly want taken away from you if terrible and remember she'd just seen 3 of the girls say that she wouldn't be up to the work of the west end and then John say she wasn't Dorothy and then she gets told she's in the bottom two and with Steph who's amazing too - of course she's upset

Lauren as much as she tried to hide the fact that she thought she was better than everyone else when charlotte pointed it out on the VT still is up her own arse. Jenny, Jessica and sophie are just not good enough actresses as good as their voices are, i think DANIELLE/STEPH TO WIN both of them are steps ahead of the rest in singing dancing and acting!!!!

Stephanie is the one that most reminds me of a young Judy Garland... I think her song choice let her down. She'll have a long career... She'll be fine. Sophie should've left... is she going to be the new Emilie and over stay her welcome?! I hope not. Favourites are Danielle and Lauren now.

@lowrioj i dont think that if you dont shed any tears you dont really want the role... it's personal i think. some girls knew they had to leave so they could anticipate, other girls maybe dont want to cry on television or other reasons...

Jessica needs to go next - she looks so awkward. My favourites are Steph and Stephanie, broke my heart to see them in the bottom two. I think Stephanie will go places outside of the show though, she is very talented...

Stephanie pulled it out of the bag on this performance because she was really upset but she managed to control it. Amazing. She will be missed. Jess and Sophie out next week, Jess shouldn't even still be in, she can't act!

Pissed off I liked stephanie, she sang that fantastically but could have given andrew a real musical up yours if she hadn't been so upset. Poor thing, dunno who I want as Dorothy now.

stepanie just didn't have depth in her personality, only her singing was good, she couldn't find the softness that the charcter of dorothy has
