A clip from Episode 13(Goodbye Stranger) of Season 1 of Army Wives containing Lili Haydn's cover of the song "Goodbye Stranger" by Supertramp. Original air date: Sunday August 26, 2007
The first season was hands down the best. The show is still good, but things have become more far fetched. With season 1 it really followed a military wife's life.
I love healthy criticism and would love to hear things you noticed that crept in that were unrealistic. I loved this show (recently binged in on Netflix); was an army officer years ago.
This had to be one of the best season endings I've ever seen. The emotion and build up and climax, just everything I could ask for in a four minute moment. Just amazing. Excellent bridge to what's going to happen next.
I really love this series. Although there are parts that were not realistic, I appreciate the stories and characters. I have a better understanding of military spouses❤️
I actually started watching this show I love it my best friends son Rick was in Afghanistan he's home 😀 I cryed so hard watching Amanda die 😫 Claudia joy I watched her in all my children in 1981 we're she died on a jetski she is my all time favorite actress, I wish it would come back Army wifes
Does anyone know where the father daughter scene is after Amanda dies. There’s a scene and a half between Michael and Emelin but I’m trying to find on here. I don’t know if it’s the second or third episode of season six or not but it’s got a really great conversation between Michael and Emelin where he admits he needs her and I don’t know if that’s because Claudia Joy has died or when that happened butIt was just perfect!
I love Army watch I wish it was to being repeated but it was kind of wrong how they played it up that Evelyn the child of 16 she get her way we all have our problems but it didn't teach her a lesson and let her know that the stomping and acting like a five-year-old would get her way I also thought that Denise made some decisions that might not have been the best but she got married when she was all of 18 and it must be hard to have your husband away from you all the time and if your friend you stick by that friend no matter what
I loved this show when it was on. It is too bad that they had to get all woke and mix in identity politics and just ruin it with a bunch of liberal crap. Up to the 6th season, it was just about good story telling. However, and as always, when woke politics are mixed in - good story is the first thing to go..
Hey everyone! Hope ur doing good...my girlfriend of 4 years left me...she used to make me watch this show and i would complain. If your with someone u love cherish it.....only advice i can pass on...i effed up...dont make the same mistake.
wow, man, that's a blow. sorry for the pain. your advice is rich. you must be hurting to come watch this when it was her show. feel for ya. God bless. (I think as a single guy I was the only one fitting that description that watched! I got hooked on it on Netflix six weeks ago and binged it. I was army and I love a good woman, so I ended up liking it.)
I don't know how you "effed up" but that is definitely a low blow. Let me tell you this (and this is coming from an engaged girl who really doesn't want to be engaged), you deserve better! So much better. Love who you love and make sure that you're happy.
