Great session! We got some Robert De Niro as well. The soap was more slickness than lather. The incorporated fats, with a Guinness base proved to be a winning combination. I love the scent of coconut. I think the gap on the GFS was is smartly designed in its geometry. The evidence was in the feedback; it was loud even with a completely slick soap. Very impressive. I favor the BIC Chrome blades myself. I've only seen Jeffrey and you feature the Astor on shaves. The end result was a glorious BBS. This shave has put me in the mood for a pint. Thank you, dear friend for an episode featuring more than one new item. It sets you apart. I'm relieved your favorite finger is beginning to heal. I'm telling you, these bic astor blades are the single best blades you can buy. Sharp as the feathers but with none of the roughness. In Greece we can get them stupid cheap. 45 cents of the euro a pack of 5
Hi Kevy, fun video as usual! I got the Styletto Sting Red too, great razor for daily use, gave me terrific shaves everytime. Also got 3 HAGS soaps, but not that one. Their Bay Rum is fantastic! Wish you a great week and hope that your finger already recovered!!
The guy who said that with the drill is right. That makes the pressure away. The nail has no nerves so it won't hurt. You have to stop before the flesh comes 😉 than you can keep the nail... Btw. Stiletto is Italian for a long knife or a high heel... Nice looking razor! And cool soap!👍
HAGS “Aftermath” (what a scent!!!) and “Barbershop” (vegan bases) and “Pirates” (tallow) are GREAT scents and properties in deed!!! I still love their previous Barbershop soap that is supposed to be not as good as the current but still grate for me! Astors are very good too but you will hear contradictory comments. Nice shave!!!
Lovely sounding summer scent from HAGS, not so sure about the label though, quite dark and scary for a summer scent. Like the contrast of red/silver Styletto.👍😎🤟
Love the artwork, it reminds me of some of the Nazi robots in Wolfenstein. Think the style is called Diesel Punk. This one is a bit of me, I've actually got some HAGS samples coming from The Wet Shaving Store, looking forward to trying them. If you want to know more about this artisan, RU-vidr (and friend) The Italian Shaver interviewed the guy (on his channel). Love Goodfellas Smile soaps and that razor looks awesome. Can't go wrong with Italian products.

Observations: your most favored razor clanged against a metal bowl, ouch that might leave marks. 2nd, the noise when screwing razor handle on made a sound suggesting it was not as well machined as may have been possible. A little petroleum jelly might help. Just a thought.
Hi Kevy, just bought the razor, I don't like it compared to the aluminum Lupo, the blade vibrates too much and renders the shave very uncomfortable! I think I am going to sell it soon and go back to my Hawk V3 stainless!!
Asian (i know it from Korean) do the Snail Secretion in face masks. It is really good to the skin... They say. I wonder how you get it out of the snail... 😉

Does anyone know about snail secretion filtrate (SSF)? Filtrate is what DOESN'T get through the filter. Usually that's because someone wants to get rid of it. So what's going on in this instance? To me, it's not an idle question. I have a tub of Abbate y la Mantia's Vegano, which is carrot & lettuce-scented. It has a non-veggie note to it that I can't place and can't help blaming on the SSF since it's the only listed ingredient I've never used before and since it's made of you-know-what. I know this could just be blind prejudice. Maybe so. But whenever I use this soap (which is never) I can think of nothing except a snail crawling over greens that are bound for the salad bowl. So if anyone has the word on SSF, I'm all antennas -- er, ears. Glad the nail's on the mend, Kevy. Just be sure to keep some over-the-counter antibiotic cream or ointment on the wound so that it doesn't get infected. Also, wash and reapply the dressing after handling snail mail. ;)
Hi again Kevy, Could you please share an update on what some of your current favorite Pre-Shave Oils are? And if you have changed favorites and why? Looking for low or no scent, but truly any scent if it's an outstanding product which takes the roughness out of a grabbing blade. Thanks again for your videos! Keep up the good shaves! (Michael H.)

Great shave. I checked and HAGS soaps, including Eulogy, are available in the US currently on The Razor Company and The Shave Supply. We, the American wet shavers, can now rejoice that they’re available here in America because of that. I’ve tried the Bic blades before, but not the Astor, and they were instead the Chrome Platinum. The Chrome Platinum was mild-medium sharp and smooth for me, and they’re among my favorites. I don’t know if you’ve tried them, but if you have, did you like them or not? Have a good one!
