We got Lucky! - Goodwill Bins Thrift with me Reselling Antique Dresser Makeover From Estate Sale 

The Norman Rockwell book sold for $60 in 1974, the year I was gifted the book. I still have it…and my love of Norman Rockwell’s art. Great find!

That cross stitch quilt is stunning. The hours of work that went into it is unreal. I need the Pollyanna book just based on my name.

I have the Betty Crocker Cookbook. I received this in 1970 as a gift when I got married. Mine, however, mine is a 3-ring binder style. Enjoy watching anything you two do.

Thank you for saving all those quilts. The time that is put into them is unbelievable to be thrown out.

All those wonderful books you found at the Bins store makes my heart beat a bit faster! I love glass, I love textiles & I LOVE old books! It's refreshing to see you guys get excited about "old" textiles found at the Bins! I come from a generation whose parents & grandparents made all those "old" textiles themselves. I remember my mom crocheting & doing other needlework in the evenings as she watched TV. Hands were never idle with my parents & grandparents, plus, they didn't have the money to buy store bought. They beautified their homes with their own talents using things found around the house. Not much was wasted or thrown away. It was used to make something new, useful or beautiful. There's something to be said about that in our "throw away" society.

My Book House is in a set of 12 books. Poems and stories graduated for ages. My favorite story was The Teeny Tiny Woman. Purple was my color choice for it.

You got the most amazing textiles and old books at the bin. I had that same cookbook that your mom has. I copied out a few recipes and donated it. But I missed it and bought another of the same one at an estate sale.

That top matches the base very well. Maybe they just flipped the top over after it got all the paint on it. Wonder why it wasn’t just cleaned up.

I like the plastic sticks with the transfers for curtain weights. Just put inside the hem.

Oh! That green Pirates of the Caribbean comforter, lol. That was my son's comforter in like 2006, and we still have it.

I love that little dresser--what's the difference between oil wax and regular wax. Could you have used just white wax, and the effect would have been the same?

I wonder on the top of the dresser, if they just didn't flip it over, instead of stripping all that paint off.

The top was just flipped, I would have looked for knobs for the piece it came out nice Is the white oil wax new?
