Ribbed "milk" glass is actually for a refrigerator. Were made for the door. They had lids for food storage. I use mine as a flower vase.

I just bought a Reece’s mug at the Hershey store in Niagara Falls. 14.95$ each

The Ribbed Milk Glass Container is a refrigerator dish. It originally had a clear plastic lid. 40’s Era Hazel Atlas. I have one without the lid too. I use it as a toothbrush holder

Central California (more like the entire state) those items would start at $5.99 and up!😮 My chances at better prices would have to be garage sales.. which have been few this year!’ I would love to thrift with you both!!👍

The prices and assortment in that store are so much better than here in Metro Detroit. Our thrift stores think they are operating boutiques judging by their prices. And our Salvation Army stores take anything that seems half way decent, vintagey, or designery, and send them to an actual Salvation Army boutique where they charge up the wazoo for them. Rumor is that the thrifts also list anything cool on Ebay as well. It's sad and makes me not want to donate them at all. I've taken to putting things I don't want on the curb with 'free' signs.

Canada has a ban on single use plastic check out bags. I am surprised that you don't use cloth bags for your thrift haul finds. I hope you have a recycling program for all your plastic single use bags or return them to the thrift store to be reused. Love watching all your great thrift haul transformations.

Hi Jami and Zeb, I'm on holiday in Salisbury England at the moment (will be here for 4 months). I've been to 5 charity /thrift shops within the first week and found some amazing things, can't buy too much as I will be returning home by plane. The charity shops here have the most amazing enamelware unfortunately way too big for me to take back home.
